We do not need to wish to reach 1,000,000 USD for 1 Bitcoin, by reaching 100,000 USD alone it has become 10x times the price of 10,000 USD for 1 Bitcoin starting from now on the Binance market.
Just imagine with a nominal 100,000 USD = 1 Bitcoin there will be a lot of money in circulation and surely the holders of Bitcoin will experience sudden riches.

Maybe 1,000,000 USD is quite far but everyone has the right to assume and this is legitimate in the world of cryptocurrency.

I agree with you there. This even now still looks quite a time away from now because after the market recovers from this bear market from Bitcoin dipping to around $15k, recovering back to its ATH of $69k and surpassing that to $100k or maybe above and here comes another bear market and the cycle continue will definitely take a long while before a $1m Bitcoin price can be reached even though I believe someday this will happen.
True. Years ago, nobody could have believed that Bitcoin's price will reach $69k. When Bitcoins price dropped from the 2017 ATH of about $20k to around $3k, some people thought that was the end of Bitcoin, hence all the Bitcoin funerals we witnessed so, I agree that
Quote
a $1m Bitcoin price can be reached
some day.

Thinking that the cryptocurrency market is around the final stages of the current bear market shouldn't be much of a surprise. Bitcoin has dropped -75.4% from the last ATH of $69k so even if the market will still drop, I do not think it will be much, however, I think it could still go down before we will see a true recovery.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Getting Rid of Fiat Money
« on: December 06, 2022, 05:05:37 PM »
Many project tokens are not a means of payment in a broad sense, although they have such a function. Therefore, I do not think that they will become stable as a fiat currency.
The whole essence of cryptocurrencies is based on the ability to make profits from your investment. Let us take our minds back to when people didn't appreciate the Bitcoin they had back then, like in this instance;
a software programmer from Florida, Laszlo Hanyecz, became well known in the crypto world after trading 10,000 bitcoins for two Papa John's pizzas. who is going to spend that much BTC on pizzas now? as we know there are other incidents like this.
That said, aside from the stablecoins that we already know, I don't see any crypto becoming stable as fiat currency, and Getting rid of fiat money isn't happening any time soon, if ever.

I think the Bitcoin withdrawals are now re-enabled. I just came from the website and the warning is no more there. Centralized exchanges regularly do routine maintenance operations to increase security and transparency. I understand how jittery everybody is these days
;D Exactly, I believe that was just another normal routine Maintainance as most exchanges always carry out from time to time but investors will always react to everything because of all the issues that have happened to other exchanges in the past. I guess this is why it will continue to matter that you hold your cryptos outside the exchange.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoins in Bitcoin ecosystem
« on: December 05, 2022, 10:21:59 AM »
Blockchain technology is growing rapidly and is changing each day as new initiatives are launched along with new entrepreneurs and users join the fold. We can see how FTX downfall has impacted the crypto market. Many claim that Bitcoin never got effected and its price surge is just an crypto winter phase.

Is Bitcoin really separated from all this? What is the role other cryptocurrency play within the Bitcoin ecosystem?  And how do different communities view this?

Bitcoin is only impacted slightly on the short term based on price actions, because of fear of loosing entire fund but I think bitcoin is on it own. Bitcoin is separated and other cryptocurrency is there to bring competition on the market. Many communities  on the crypto space may view it differently but it does not affect the growth and development of bitcoin in my opinion. In the past many individuals has criticized bitcoin but today many of are now promoters in one way or the other.
I believe that both Bitcoin and Altcoins are the same in terms of Price action whether it was caused by FUD or a normal bear market circle but the difference is that Altcoins are more likely to fail in this type of market condition (Bear market) because they are more centralized projects than Bitcoin. The market was already in a downtrend before the FTX issue and this incident could only collapse Alts than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin, which is most acceptable as money?
« on: December 04, 2022, 09:06:57 AM »
Bitcoin has evolved out successfully to be the most widely accepted cryptocurrency. It can be used directly as payment for goods and services online or through debit card although there are still some merchants yet to accept it. Bitcoin is the only outstanding coin which can be used purchase all other cryptocurrencies.

I think both have potential to be as money when all countries accep them.
But crypto is always high volatile, I think It's the reason why government didn't support and and allow crypto currency.
So, let's see what happens at the coming future.
I don't think that All the country will accept cryptocurrency as you might think. Do you believe that sometimes in the future that countries will give up their money to use Crypto as the main currency?
Even though both can be used as money with regards to whoever wishes to accept them but we should also look at which one is less likely to fail, hence investors gravitate more towards Bitcoin than Alts in this regard as money.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin ever run out?
« on: December 04, 2022, 08:56:52 AM »
100 years from now? maybe I can see the bank accepts Bitcoin as an investment asset and payments, I choose to buy Bitcoin but not everyone has expertise in mining and I think every miner will sell their Bitcoin when they need money for operational costs and other things, they prefer to hold Bitcoin for a long time because they know mining Bitcoin will generate a small reward since the Bitcoin Halving

100 years is too long mate.
I think at the next 10 years, banks will accept bitcoin and altcoins.
Every countries will have own digital currency.
Because we all know digital currency is better as payment method.
So, I believe bitcoin and altcoin will have bright future.
Let's see.
I agree, I too believe that 100 years is too far because we already have banks that have been providing some of their customers with some form of cryptocurrency services  Crypto Friendly Banks however, I do not believe that they will totally alow crypto to overtake the country's currency regardless of whether Bitcoin and other Alts will be having a good acceptance in the future.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Big Problem In Crypto
« on: January 10, 2022, 08:18:54 AM »
I don't think that's all, experience is the same as doing bad things by believing what people who have power with large followers and are entrepreneurs say. fear that for beginners we need to understand but for those who are already in crypto still believe what people like @elonmusk say is certainly very questionable, because this is a bad precedent for crypto development
True and I guess it all comes down to their firm belief in what they have invested in. If the supposed veterans of the crypto space still react to news from people like Musk as you said, then they too don't even believe in what they invested in but just want to make quick gains like the beginners who also don't know anything.

Hello investors and traders in the forum  8)
I want to hear your opinion on this, 'Anyone that cannot handle a 40% deeps does not deserve a 300% gains.' wailers and weakhands are often so loud whenever the market is in a bear session, however they become mute when bulls are in control ;D
Those ain't really investors but more like quick money traders. There are 2 sides to the cryptocurrency market as in every other market and this bear market isn't even supposed to be something bad. Think about it, If Bitcoin has been steadily going up since its creation without a bear market maybe by now many of us couldn't afford 1 Satoshi with what Bitcoins price would have been now. Bear market and corrections are necessary for the healthiness of the market.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin pump again Yes or Not?

Current bitcoin price $41,671 dollar. What do you think will Bitcoin go to the all time high tach again in this year?

I think we will face the long bearish until 2024.
But we also will be see the bullish, maybe It will happen several time.
So, We still have hoping in crypto currency.

You cannot say we will be facing a Bearish market up till 2024 and still say we will also see bullish at the same time. Some investors/traders don't seem to understand whats the difference between a correction in an uptrend as I believe we are currently seeing and a proper bearish market. Both Bull and Bear markets have a trend and there might be ups and downs in those trends but that doesn't mean it is a bull in a bear market just a correction, check out this link, Identifying Market Trends and we could have even up to 50% correction and not till be in a bear market.
and as for the OP question, yes I do believe that Bitcoin will see a new ATH this 2022 if you check all the TAs which are vital info to trading/investment, it is possible that Bitcoin can have a rebound in the next months.

Good morning, fellow mates! The question here is always tickling my mind on what's the possibility of BITCOIN overtaking the US DOLLARS, EUROS AND BRITISH POUND as the dominant and hegemon currency all over the world economy.
I know sometimes we like to say ANY THING CAN HAPPEN but not this one. If you understand what the ECONOMICS of a Nations POWER is, then you wouldn't even ask this kind of question with regards to something that is Decentralized, Not owned by a single person or country, Forget it, No World power Nation will allow Bitcoin to be a Dominant currency over their own Fiat.

If we have been here for a long time of course we have seen there are other cryptocurency that have a higher price than Bitcoin, but to control crypto and become the new crypto king replacing Bitcoin I don't think this will happen.
I wonder where those coins/projects are now? do they still exist in the cryptocurrency market? I think it is not just the price of a coin or any token but the value which it holds and its acceptance by the crypto community. For now Bitcoin has that support of the crypto society and maybe just maybe there might be some crypto project that can replace Bitcoin in the future but I don't see that yet.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you rely on Crypto Currencies?
« on: January 08, 2022, 04:51:54 PM »
As we all know crypto currency is very popular nowadays.  Many make a Good amount by trading cryptocurrencies.  But as a beginner or veteran member, do you believe in this cryptocurrency?
Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, as long as you are in cryptocurrency trading I will like to believe that you somehow rely upon and believe in cryptocurrency for you to be trading it. Crypto have really made a lot of people good profits over the years and more and more people are investing in it, so yeah I believe in cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin To Soon Cross the $100K Border
« on: January 08, 2022, 04:48:20 PM »
I am seeing a big possibility that there is a very good chance Bitcoin can be able to cross the $100K line this year...or if not then at least $90K which can be a big feat for the king of coins. However, there is a possibility of sideways movements to happen in December though if Bitcoin is going to be breaking the tradition then we can have a very explosive DecemBEER and not a DecemBEAR for BTC.

What is you own opinion on this matter, mate?
obviously, Bitcoin price action can change anytime and we can never really predict what happens the next day. If we look at the Bitcoin price on a daily chat today you would realize it seems from that day Nov 10, 2021, it has continued on a downward movement instead of a continuous upward trend like most investors thought. The bigger picture here is market will always recover and will find that new ATH again maybe in this 2022.
