This all depends on users. If users think they should move on now for others project because they think they founds better something than bitcoin, they can. And if they start to doing it, sooner or later the popularity will decrease a lot. I am not sure people gonna let it happen. The main reason behind this scene is the volatility of crypto currency. You can't imagine how big loss you can gain if you go with crypto. Just think about bitcoin because few month ago bitcoin was the top trended coin which passed more 67k but look the btc price. Suppose if they want to accept they bitcoin payment, they should fix a minimum rate of bitcoin satoshi to get the per litter oil in exchange of bitcoin. If they set the satoshi then there will have no issue between the dollar impact.  But if they do not do this, they may be unable to do exchange bitcoin for gas or oil.

First of all getting a bounty is not easy for all the BM. No matter how big their reputation in the forum but still it's hard for them to collect bounty. In this case, BM mostly time look for their Fees first and later its come about Escrow agreement . If any project team agreed to pay the fees and come to escrow agreement , the BM take the deal.
