Locking Old Threads

There are so many old threads that are no longer relevant to today's discussion but still being bumped by some bounty hunters and I don't think the OPs plan to lock them up anytime soon. Can admin or mods do it?

Examples:
Ethereum will regain the number two positions. Locked
When Will Ethereum Get Back To #2 Locked
Welcome back ETH! Locked
Ethereum today. Locked
ETH holders will profit at the end of the year. Is it true? (posted 2018)Locked

yes agree makes sense to lock topics that are not relevant

I have updated the OP and added one more. I will continue to add when I see more old and irrelevant topics.

How about plagiarized topic? Most of them are months behind the original post and usually irrelevant also. I think they should be locked too.

I think this is necessary for local threads too. Those threads create info pollution when newbies want to rise in rank quickly.

Yes, I agree. I think the moderator on the local board must be active to lock the old thread and always monitoring.
