I think it requires certain ranks to give other peoples karma. Because I am not seeing any option to give any karma to anyone. You are right by giving karma we can attract new users to make a quality post. This is important for this forum growth.

Your Member rank does not allow you to give karma to other members of this forum. In my opinion, from the next rank of Full Member you will see on the left side of the messages of other persons under the word "karma", the inscriptions "[+ karma] [-karma]. By clicking on [+ karma], next to the message of another member, the page will reload and of that participant next to the word "karma" a number one more will appear.

If you want to give + karma or -karma in a new post. You have to up your rank minimum sr member. Then you can do it. Otherwise you can't give karma to anyone

So just want to say another opinion of mine.
As you can see I don't have much karma but I'm still thankful to have 2 karma. My motivation every time I'm active and doing post is to have a positive karma. Challenging enough to make a quality post while interact with our friends here.
If you do not receive positive karma, does not mean you are foolish or your posts are nonsense. In due time you will receive it.

Just want to remind you keep going and create quality post.
In addition, this topic should be in beginners forum coz this is not related to Bitcoin.

true, what our friend have said above already reflects what you need to know, but sometimes there are indeed many colleagues who have karmic facilities like it or not want to give even though they see someone who gives good and straightforward answers. and that we cannot deny because the sense of ego from everyone always overcomes what should be done for good, because giving karma will not make you drain karma and there is a positive side that given karma will try to give the best for progress for development crypto and knowledge for those who really need or really need motivation.

If you want to give + karma or -karma in a new post. You have to up your rank minimum sr member. Then you can do it. Otherwise you can't give karma to anyone   

be patient, friends, there will be a time, don't feel discouraged because every human character is different and we can't read their minds, for that we have to understand so that we don't get even more desperate. follow what has been said above then you will one day also get, be patient.

Does anyone did not noticed that the post is not appropriate for this board? This is a bitcoin section and must be posted on forum related since this is about karma and connected with the forum activities. Karma is something to give to those deserving post, I dont want to spoil it but it should be work like merit on the other forum. Dont just give karma negative to post you dont like but just report it.

this should be moved to the appropriate section, forum related to be precise, this section suppose to be for btc related, try to navigate around the forum and get yourself acquainted with each section so you know the right place to open a thread.

In my opinion, to give karma, you have to be at least rank sr.member and to get karma it's not easy you have to make a quality post, this is what is very difficult for people to do so that not a few people can get karma.

Based on what I knew about the rules and policy to this forum, you supposed to be at least in Sr. member in rank correct me if I am wrong. Just don't exactly remember where that section that I read it. But of course, this privilege must not be abuse just like what I saw at the other forum in Bitcointalk where most of them that are authorized to give negative trust was being abused by them. And here I know if someone takes abused by it the Admin for sure will give them negative karma anyway.

Going back to the basics for the function of karma, which is something good, give it a + and if something is bad then give it a value -.

So, if you want to get positive karma then you have to make a weighty and good position that other members can understand.
It is certain that if you make posts that are weighty, good and useful, you will be given positive karma.
