Its a no-brainer that any respectable miner requires a mining Operating System. Operating Systems generally determine how the applications run and the resources offered to each software. Recently, I saw information that the Chinese are massively buying laptops with GeForce RTX 3070 video cards and using them for mining Etherium. I have never seen any information that mining can be done with a laptop before.
