If the trader wants to invest in cryptos but does not have tolerance for hefty intraday volatility of cryptocurrency market.
If the investment will be made in cryptocurrency with real-life use cases, with potential for mass adoption by populace in future. There are already several of such cryptos in list of top 30 most capitalized cryptos, and many are not even up to 20 cents a coin in price.
Investment should be done with lowest risk possible.
It will involve aiming either invest in an ICO featuring project with  real product or service that is already in the market, or buying into an existing crypto project where prices are at their baseline levels.

However, investing in the middle of nowhere is likely to be a loss. The initial capital of the investment cannot be found. So I think the authority must be careful. Cryptocurrencies trading both short term trading and long term trading both are suitable but it's depends on coins basis. Bitcoin and Ethereum two coins are very much popular and suitable for shot and Long term investment. But some coins, Cartesi, DIA , BNB also short period trading Coins.

I think its a matter of choice, but i agree with your conclusion part of your post, bear times are the best times to invest in crypto for long term, but some people who are very good with trading still trade in this period and they make profit, ive tried trading many times but ive seen more loss than profit , so i quit trading and invest for long term, so this is my choice, this is why i said that it all boils down to choice.

Trading is not an easy task especially if you are doing it manually and most of the time you can experience losses that almost hard to bear that's why it's better to avoid trading if you are not certain of what you are doing. day trading is ok but sometimes it's not working the way you are expecting it.

Crypto trading depends on investment; if you have little funds, you can invest in long-term investment, and you should buy the altcoin at their low level and then wait and hold for a good time to sell for the best profit. Still, if you have a good amount of funds and can make a good profit for day trading, you should start day trading in that altcoins that are volume-wise good and give you a good profit.

I can agree with you because everyone can profit in a short time with the panic sell a few time panic sell is a good result for newcomer trader but the process is lost money final result. so I preferred that no panuic analysis, read, recharge and opening the trade.

If I am to choose the best, I would go for long term especially when you buy at the period of market collapse, it's very amazing when you bag the cheaper, that's way market movement wouldn't bother me too much
