Yeah. It will not be for the benefit of ordinary people But there is a big issue. People dye, people lose private keys or seed words, people forget them and this may affect the circulating supply deeply if we think it for the long term. But I am sure there will be some innovations on this issue.

We don't know and truly uncomprehending until the course of time to that machine launching, if there is. There might be a pro's and con's but let us assume that machine will be under regulatory and must be transparent to promote trust and enough proof of reliable. With the constant growth and evolving nature of technology, it is obvious that the hard work will and is to be done inside and behind the scenes, so that it could be a surprise to the entire public when this technology is open to the general public. This technology is all on the manipulation of 0s and 1s, which its possibility is not far fetched. For now, it doesn't exist yet, maybe in the future there will definitely be this technology because Bitcoin was created by humans and definitely has a way out.
Until now, this technology cannot be seen and maybe the better technology to be able to recover lost Bitcoin (due to private keys or forgetting pass phrase) should not exist because it is very dangerous for Bitcoin that has been circulating.

I received a news that some bitcoins have been lost along with the hardware. I don't know if they will ever be recovered. However, the main entrepreneur or authority of Bitcoin can take action in this regard. In other words, if they try to increase the supply, then Bitcoin will be a scam. So refrain from such thoughts. @Tnoy30 all lost private keys are lost Bitcoins, there is no way to get them back in any way, not even with quantum technology as I have read on some sites. And no one intends to expand the total supply of Bitcoin, it would not only go against the initial plan of Satoshi but it would also cause the economic value of Bitcoin to fall. Lost private keys cannot be recovered, and there are and will be 21,000,000 Bitcoins.

I agree bitcoin is popular and seems impossible to recover the lost bitcoin. Only super intelligent people may develop such technology but not all bitcoin will recover because some coins are totally vanished.

@Falcon no matter how super smart some people are, you shouldn't forget the technical limitations and computational resources that would be required to do something like this. Currently it is not possible and will not be possible with quantum computers as some people say on some websites. Lost Bitcoins must remain lost, otherwise something like that would be used for stealing.

That will mean for satoshi Nakamoto to reveal his/her/they identify, because who else can work on a new technology to recover lost btc if not satoshi, which means this idea is not going to be possible,  all lost btc will remain lost for good and there is nothing that can be done about it.
