Long term and short term trading

Long term trading strategy applies for holding coins for a long period of time. On the other hand short term trading is for short period of time. Both are profitable if you can choose your coin for trading. Like if you choose short period of time then you have to choose those currency which is ups and down in short period of time such as doge coin.

Usually long-term trading uses TF (Time Frame) 30m to 1h while long-term trading uses TF 1D but tends to be 3D.

I lie Long term trading it is much less risky. But you said the timeframe of long term trading 1 to 3 days but this not i thinka long term trading. Long term trading means holding for about a week or two.

Both trading terms are good but it depends on that contemporary situation  of the market. I basically use both of the two terms and get benefited. If you need money early then you have to follow short term trading strategy.

I want to be honest with the author of this topic, short-term trading was really effective to me, I had been doing this for 4 years now, despite having no job, still, I can survive in the daily expenses I have. Starting with my billings, renting a house, maintenance for my vehicles, commodities, and emergency budget or unexpected cost. by doing this I have the control to earn or not depending on the coins I trade and depending on the level of skills I have also here in cryptocurrency.

But keep in mind that when the bullish season comes it's not very good to hold coins for too long. Because someday the bearish will come.
So the long term is better when the bears come buy cheaper and sell after 5 years or 6 years.
When bulls come it is better to take advantage of the market for short term trading, as it is more profitable than holding for too long

I think both are profitable for trading but i always prefer short time trading strategy because it is more profitable than longterm trading strategy. But you have to experts in short term trading strategy for getting profit other wise you will be looser.

I think you are right even though I would also say that this coins are also good even for short term trading as we can notice some good level of volatility in the market for this coins as well which any good trader can leverage on for this short term trades.

I use the time every 3 hours to make short-term trades and wait 7 days to make long-term trades, this is related to the price of the coin that wants to go up and down according to the target price I want, if I want quick profits but in small amounts, then I will make short-term trades with a focus on 1 coin and put the other coin for the long term.

Short term trading are usually focused on making short term profits, and are alot more risky in my opinion, that's why I prefer long term trading, because its actually much better than short term trading as I only have to buy and follow the market trend this includes buying at the lowest price and wait for a pump, also include shorting a coin at the top down to support, I like long term trading cause I don't have to check on the market every day.

because in my opinion, short-term trading is very difficult to do, not only experience, but knowledge of trading management and mastering every indicator is very important, especially the Elliot Wave indicator.
