Demand for Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been so intense that buyers overwhelmed the Binance system with deposits, causing the top exchange to run out of deposit addresses, while the Binance Smart Chain-based Australian Safe Shepherd (ASS) token has gained more than 400% in 24-hours. The Elon Musk-inspired Dogelon Mars (ELON) has al rallied 170%."

First of all, I congratulate the investors who made a lot of money from the meme-coins wave. Their luck really makes others admire.

However for the crypto and blockchain markets, this is a pain when good projects do not have the capital and interest to develop and soon create useful products for community.

We see IOTA, REN... updates, but token prices of these projects have not grown as much as DOGE, Shiba Inu or AquaGoat. This just shows that the madness has dominated the crypto market rather than the place where we talk about the technology, the solution and the practical value of crypto to society.

And even more sad when in the future, when price of meme-coins drops, we will see the sadness of late investors. The image of crypto has become distorted for a lot of people in the community who are thinking that crypto is a big casino with capitalization above $2T @@

What do you think about this meme-coins wave? Are their absurd price increases a good or bad signal for the market and the future of crypto?

I am also interested in the relationship between the growth of these cryptocurrencies and the current high growth in the price and capitalization of ethereum. Tokens like Doge can play a cruel joke on ethereum when they start to plummet. I would like to believe that their probable fall will not have a negative impact on this coin.

Last year, a colleague of mine encouraged me to buy some Shiba Inu tokens. However, since I believe it’s nothing buy hype, I choose not to buy. Now that Shiba Inu is already following the footsteps of Dogecoin and is one of the top 20 in market capitalization, I certainly believe that the hype might go down anytime soon. Same thing with the other “Inu” coins, in which there is no fundamentals. If it goes all the way high, then just TP but not for long term holding.

Years ago (many) I ignored Doge because I thought it was a joke based on a meme, and although today I still think the same we can all see what is happening. I have spent a few dollars at INU (only $100) in case the same thing as with Doge could happen. The world is getting crazier every day and I don't understand it, but maybe that madness will make me earn some money .

Yes, Its absurd the price of such coins is rising aggressively that can not be expected by a trader. At the present time majority of the investors are taking a risk by investing in Dogecoin & Shiba like coins and even many of the investors already booked huge profit even one of my frieds also made 20X from the Shiba coin but we all know Elon created the hype for these coins and I believe soon such coin will drop and we will see good movement in our other traditional altcoins till then its a matter of time. These meme coins are highly risky to trade now and one should avoid it or take little risk as they are not any product base so they will not survive for long. Yes, I agree madness is dominating the crypto market. Yes the consequences of such coins will effect many investors those who consider this market as a gambling will lose money in the future and will not jump again in this crypto market.

I don't mind the Dodge and Consortium climbing that high, as long as it helps me get my pockets full. That makes the market even more euphoric and at some point most will also realize that there is no substance behind it and will pump their profits into the other good coins. This is my hope, it doesn't have to happen. The world is full of surprises.

I think his meme coins wave are terrible, this hype can change the market condition very quickly. After Dogecoin's rally, then another meme coin appear and hopes to have the same luck as Doge. People are starting to get FOMO.

One thing for sure is that it is so hard to determine which coin especially the new ones will be making such a big impact and growth later. Had you been swayed by your friend then you can consider yourself to be lucky enough to gain profits from Shiba Inu. Since we don't have an unlimited source of funds (I just assumed this since I am not privy to your finances), we can't be buying all the new coins and tokens that come our way. The problem here is actually is that you used the right way of evaluating a project but the market can be so eccentric sometimes. Now, many people are asking which coin can be the next to go 100x...

I missed the given wave quite consciously and I'm not worried about it. Since I have been on the market for a long time, it was quite obvious to me that everything would end sooner or later. I prefer not to participate in such risks.

I never believed in meme coins because they have no value, they are just tools for whales to attract more money into the market. I think that this "meme-coin" mania will end quick. It is same as NFT. Only few understand what it is and how to use it profitable, but many want to join NFT mania and create them everywhere. Same will be with meme-coins. Few months and everyone will remember only dogecoin.
