The future of DOGE is very feasible and very good to invest because DOGE is now widely adopted by various DeFi, CEX and DEX.
I'm also sure that almost all Centralized Exchanges already provide trading for DOGE coins and this DOGE already has a very large marketcap and is included in the top 10 COinmarketcap.

I think depend how good developer and customer commitment to support the coin, no one need to be blame about doge. This coin need good news and new technology to follow another big project, they need to change before too late. I'm not doge follower but see it abandon look's sad and not helpful.

Talking about the future of Dogecoin, I'm also not too sure that this coin can last a long time at a high price. This is due to the sizeable supply of Doge, and these are just meme coins. I also believe, Elon Musk will not forever support Dogecoin.

I'm not actually a fan of meme coins and never invest in them. There are many decent potential altcoins on the cryptocurrency market for this. Meme coins are very risky to hold for a long time.

Doge so far has gained more popularity over the years, and survived the market challenges, though it has been a coin that has come a long way just that it has not really made a huge impact in terms of its price. Doge coin which is based on litecoin, and uses the same proff-of-work network can still make a difference even as time goes on. One thing about doge coin which is for sure is that it can not go very high in its price ($1, $1.5 is possible, but will hardly get up to $5) as it has an unlimited total supply. This will continue to affect the price, but it's popularity will definitely continue to grow as it has a big supporter Elon Musk which truly has drawn attention to this coin.
