There's a reason why most people keep on saying DYOR (do your own  research always) . Because DYOR is something you really need to take as an habit in any cash related projects and other stuffs.
I always love to explain base on experiences. Some one I know of. Was in search of something he can take as an income source.
So his friends recommended him to forex trading telling all the positive part in it, how he can make certain huge amount of money by following signals being posted on  a group.
So due to lack of research about how forex trading works. That with poor risk  management it  can lead to great losses. Because the higher the chances of making more profits in trading the higher the risk of also making huge losses.
So he went in to trading with the signals provided to him, he was actually trading with ignorance and at the end he ended up losing all its funds and not just his funds he also  gave up on forex trading. So if he had made good research he would have know the risk attached to forex and how to manage them.

You also need to make your own research when it's comes to investing. Don't just do it because multitudes of people already doing it.
Try and make your research and Know the reasons why the particular projects being hyped. Because alot of people have fall as victims in scam projects due to lack of making their own personal researches.

Conclusion : in choosing any jobs both in  crypto space or outside it, always make your own proper researches before jumping in to any thing. To know how it works or  how to keep up with that particular thing. Wish you'll and a happy new year in advance.
