As the forum grows many of the members here are getting eager to rank up easier by posting copied content
and the worst of it some of them getting positive karma on it, which they never deserved.

a child board of decentralized team, a sections for reporting plagiarizers and spammers and by reporting you can be awarded a positive karma.

Try to look for nice/long posts or replies on different section especially altcoins discussion maybe it is a copied content.


then paste it on google or in this plagiarism checker > https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/
I recommend it to all of you because it is better  than google search and it can accommodate 1000 words per search


just put the text here then click "check plagiarism"



then wait a seconds and scroll it down to see the results like this one,

now click on "compare" or "matched sources" for better reviewing and after you confirm it was a plagiarized content again post it here https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=62494.0

I have my own way of checking copied content using google search. I can probably increase my efficiency with the plagiarism checker you shared so +1 for that.

I believe they are aware that they are being reported and getting -karma in the process but they do not fear it. They simply give +karma to each other so they won't be disqualified from bounty campaigns.

Unfortunately, even those managing the bounty campaigns does not visit the plagiarism board. If they do, they just allow these plagiarists.

If atleast 20 Sr. members (and above) would help punish them, they'll probably stop their act.

It is a quite good tool to check plagiarism. Easy to use and can accommodate around 1000 words. I also use it for instant plagiarism checking.

We need more team members to cooperate in reporting plagiarism and contribute to give them negative karmas. I'm surprised to see their positive karmas, since at previous they got some negative karmas.

Yes there are. EmoneyABC and Mnixxo are examples of running a bounty group.
I believe they are very much active here, just not sure if they're visiting the plagiarism board. Reporting plagiarists to them might actually help.

If it can be done, then maybe it will at least stop them from giving karma to each other.

If that happen, there must be one party that is ready to guarantee that the section/board will not be used as the place low-quality spam or post.

I think you haven't seen the number of plagiarized posts on different boards yet and the number of times we have raised the issue plagiarism. Admin may have already something in mind.

The suggestion was a closed section/board, only a few members who are willing to counter karma farming will be able to access it. So don't expect any spam or low quality posts there if it will be granted.

I tried searching using this and it marked them all unique but upon further review, I found out that that it was still a plagiarized comment. So I suggest not to totally depend on this.

This is good suggestion to allow the willing members to report such plagiarism activities by our co-members here in order to prevent garbage/meaningless/undesirable forum in just a few years. Looking forward that altcoinstalks will not be in serious boring discussions but this forum will be brighter and a loving forum that everyone who hears altcoinstalks name will instantly interested what it is all about.

Both. You can check the plagiarism board and see where they copy their posts.

Reporting plagiarism eats time also. Maybe that is the reason why only few are reporting but higher rank members who don't want to spend time making reports should support those who do by giving copied posts/comments a negative karma. That is the least they can do to help.

Yes, it is consuming time but it would be worth it to let the forum clean in its early stage before the members become crazy doing such forbidden thing. Anyway, better not to say words but let this put in action as long as we can. Hoping to remember this matter at all times.
