Why i prefer Altcoinstalks more than Bitcointalk

You have focused on a good point. I agree on it. Many members diverted from Bitcointalk to altcoinstalks after introduced merit for rank up in BTT. Here, it's a friendly forum for rank up with quality posters but LQP won't be allowed here to rank up.

I am agree with you Brother. I see that some members Rank was Baby Step on some days ago. But now their rank has Full Member. They all is Increase their rank through Spamming or plagiarism. This is not good for forum.

if you frequently see new member with shit post or plagiat, please click report to moderator. so that the admin will immediately reprimand him

For very simple reasons, here people talk, share information. The mods are normal people, they do not attack each other, they know that they are not gods, the information is well indexed and many other things, if I said everything I would be writing for hours...

Exactly, i agree what you said dear mate. I am also on both forum but here i feel better from the joining here for its better working environment. I haven't find such active and innovative ADMIN on other crypto forums. Here Global mods, mods are so active that impressed me from the very beginning here.

Except for established members, BitcoinTalk forum isn't the best to be in and and gain up ranks. It is not just easy. It is shady how the administration on there is being run.
I registered not quite long on there and i was required to pay some small amount of BTC before being able to make posts. Newbies there hardly find there way up, so much corruption among the members.
Altcointalks to me is a worthy competitor.

Yeah mate. I find everything so pleasing and easy here. I am hoping to stay more active and contribute positively to the forum.

I wouldn't make wrong accusations without proof. I have seen quite number of people also talked about the same. I am not really sure what that fee is for but I received a message my email is associated with creepy activity which I was surprised.

@Raqeebzy if you have received messages saying that, you have proof in addition to meeting other users who talk about the same thing as you said. What would be good to know is if that message was sent to you by someone on the forum (some mod, for example) or someone trying to scam you. In that forum I have seen many crazy things, for better or worse from that forum nothing surprises me.

I'm quite familiar with bitcoin talk, worked on it for some time but no more, Bitcointalk is somehow more strict and the moderators are less friendly, to rank up is such a difficult task. Although, the both are built on related specifics but altcointalk tends to be more friendly.

Before joining Altcoins talk, I had already tried Bitcoin talk.  I was asked to pay an amount before I am fully registered and where I would pay into was given. I was just about to start, I had not made any coin, how do I pay the fee? That's why I diverted here. And I must confess, Altcoinstalk is the best.

I believe that's the main edge and they are so important too. Ranking up in this forum is much easier and accomodating compared to many other similar environment; not particularly BitcoinTalks. And a further edge, is to maintain your rank if you wish to be part of the forum from similar ones by teleportation.

i have spend time on these 2 forums, and i think there are many differences now between these 2.

ALTtalks is easier to rank up than BTCtalks, its so much better for newbies... so i think in the long run, ALTtalks can do better. its really not easy to get merits. + i have to pay to be a copper member in BTCtalks, what kind of rule is that? and copper member still have many restrictions too... i paid and still get restrictions?? its really not fair for us.


however, this does not mean i hate BTCtalk, i still love both forums

Altcoin Talks is awesome. Friendly community, and informative. I think the mod's do a great job. Overall, if I was to put a stamp on it, this is a superior community from the short time I have been here. Couple reasons, lesser spam, Bitcointalk have pretty unnecessary censorship. Their rate of deleting posts, including half decent posts, is high

If Bitcointalk changes its merit system it will stay at the top, forever! But if they will not change the merit system then it would be hard for new members to stay longer and the forum will drop slowly. I like both Altcoinstalk and Bitcointalk, but it's easy for me to use Altcoinstalk than Bitcointalk.

I don't agree with you @Dreamer, the bitcointalk merit system is just one of the many problems the forum has. Censorship is another of those problems, hundreds of posts are eliminated that should not be eliminated mostly. Bots, there are threads with 100 posts of which 99 are from bots, those threads are curiously not deleted. The way the moderators (some, not all) treat the users... The list is unfortunately long.
