I keep all my coins at myetherwallet (MEW). There are many types to open MEW wallet. I recomend Metamask, because it is the most secured type. Some bounties require Stellar wallet. There are many of them. I use Lobstr.

For me to secure my token, I think i keep on hold it at myetherwallet before planning to exchange because MEW is very safe than exchange market.

I think Myetherwallet is enough to secure our tokens and I've been using this already so many times and did not encounter any problems.

My advice is you use a wallet on the hardware. Namely Trezor and nano. Both of them are two good, trusted, well-established and reputable names on the market to date. You need more secure wallets just pick hardware wallets , hardware wallets are most secure wallets to store BTC and other cryptocurrencies.

Alts and seperata both are erc 20 based token , you must have  erc20 wallet like myetherwallet and trust wallet . I also used Trust wallet because it's easy to handle token there .
