Could Bitcoin Become a New Global Currency?

I think Bitcoin is globally accepted right now except few countries like Bangladesh and so one that's why i can tell that Bitcoin become a new global currency.

@raisajahan what is being discussed in this thread is whether Bitcoin could be the only currency used in the world, not whether it can be used globally or not. We can do that for years without problems, even if governments put up a lot of obstacles or want to ban cryptocurrencies.

It seems that there are still obstacles for bitcoin to be accepted as a global currency, and there are still many problems that occur in some third countries, which have not recognized it as a legal means of payment and do not even recognize bitcoin. impact which will bring its own problems.

it is better for bitcoin to remain independent and only as support for other transactions, let banking continue as usual and US $ as a legal tender and recognized by all countries. let bitcoin complement each other with what is already running.

Everything goes to this, since recently the capitalization of bitcoin has already exceeded 1 trillion dollars and in a few years I think the capitalization of bitcoin will be at least 10 trillion dollars, and in the future, in general, the capitalization of bitcoin will grow to incredible heights, so it's just a matter of time when Bitcoin will become the most popular and demanded currency around the world.

I am still confused about what mean of global currency. If this becomes global currency, will it need regulation? because if in a country, a currency is regulated. if it is still decentralized, is there no problem with it? I personally agree to make BTC as currency as what the basic purpose of the creation.

It can be if many more people want to use it as a currency.
However, it may only be implemented in the countries that allow BItcoin as a currency. But for others, it may be still banned. So, the process is probably still a long time later.

Ofcourse there has a huge chance that bitcoin willl be the global currency near  future ..   It is now most demand able crypto in whole world and most developed  country now using  bitcoin in their govt payment systeam and such as passport or airport payment systeam.. By the way, might there will a day come  when bitcoin will be  converted to paper currency..

Actually there's no such thing as global currency... what I'm referring there's the U.S. dollar, the most widely used currency in the world sorry for the mistake.

Of course bitcoin recently more valued than gold and most of the gigantic business person in the world investing in cryptocurrencies. Tesla owner Elon musk, microsoft founder bill gates and Amazon owner already invested in cryptocurrencies. So I think bitcoin obviously become the global accepted cryptocurrency.

I think ait is difficult to happen.I don't believe bitcoin could replace USD for the global currency. Because We all see bitcoin is   blocked at several countries. So, I think it will take several years again, But I don't believe It will be

It is possible happening in someday in the future, but I don't think it happens. When Bitcoin be a global currency, I doubt the price of Bitcoin will be regulated and it cannot grow fast again like today. We need Bitcoin for investment, not for the payment tools nowadays.
