If you stick only to historical facts, then you are right. But if we talk about the potential of the platform, then Ethereum has a much wider range of capabilities, unlike Bitcoin.

with everything going on, Ethereum's bright future is its widespread use as a platform for decentralized applications (DApps). With the demand for DApps on the rise, more developers are turning to Ethereum for its user-friendly programming language and robust infrastructure.

Of course, I have always appreciated Ethereum for being a key player by making its blockchain available for other crypto/web3.0 projects to spring forth. However, I think its gas fees should be a major factor to put into consideration. If any possible solution can be found, then I believe Ethereum's price would skyrocket and introduce more adoption.

I'm not really sure that the price of ethereum in 2020 will reach $2k USD, but that's what I see, the price continues to rise when network fees start to increase, but I believe ethereum will touch a new ATH in 2024-2025, let's wait for the BTC Halving moment

Indeed, sometimes someone becomes very worried when the market drops and coin prices decrease. even if it's ethereum or other top coins. One of them is when we invest in Ethereum. then we will be very worried, for example we often think how far ethereum can rise and increase in price. or whether the Ethereum will be returned or not. However, I personally am very confident that the ETH coin will be able to follow Bitcoin's progress, namely that it will rise drastically beyond the previous ATH in the next bullish era. What I can answer now(as we are already in 2024) that Ethereum is heading to 10k in the coming years , it may not happen this coming halving but with confident ? it will come in the next one at least in 2028? 

the graphs seems fair back in 2018 though when Ethereum made its ATH at that Altcoin season.

actually looking at the market price of Ethereum  now it is clearly that the price is near to hit 3k because there is some good movement happened   early this year so basically if recovery happens any time soon then Ethereum might reach that goal in Mid of this year or at least before it ends? and if that continues in 2025 ETH will even hit more than 4k .

The current price of Ethereum is around $2500, although the market is moving up and down from here, but the amount of up and down is not much. Unfortunately, Ethereum has not yet reached the target price of $3,000. It has experienced a price decline due to bad news that attacked Bitcoin and caused the price to collapse. With this incident, hopefully in the next few days it can rise again and the target price of $3k is achieved because, as you can see, the price of Ethereum is just a few hundred dollars less than its cost of $3k.

In 2024, Ethereum reached a high of $2,867. Only a few dollars away from 3000 but I think Ethereum will cross $3000 before Bitcoin halving very soon. It's not out of our imagination that the price of Ethereum has risen as much as it is right now, it's certainly within our imagination. I think when the bull run starts in the Bitcoin market, if Bitcoin reaches $100,000, Ethereum will definitely go to $10,000. Today I saw a news that mentions that Ethereum will hit $27k during the bull market after the halving.
