Just when you thought that United is slowly settling into the match, the Gunners scored! It looks like Onana is going to have a long night here and ETH will have another tough post-match interview ;D. There are still a lot of time left but I'm not watching the rest as I can already see it's going to be a beating.

As for the Celtics-Cavaliers, the Celtics manage to win on the road yet again. It seems like we've seen this kind of scenario already during the first round of the playoffs between the Celtics and the Heat. Do you think that it will be the same scenario this time? They will steal one on the road again and win on their home to clinch the East Finals? :D
Yeah, it also reminded of the series against the Heat. I don't think it will be different this time. It's only the team that changed but the result will be the same. It's like they already figured out the Cavs with the way things are going and there's nothing Mitchell (and co.) can do about it.

You never really know what you'll get with Lewis that's why I try to avoid betting on him. Every fighter probably knows his weakness and has a way to beat him but everyone also knows they could get knockdown by his power (Nascimento found that out the hard way). I think he'll still be a gatekeeper for a couple of years. I don't think he'll win a belt but he's still a fan favorite.

Kambosos got schooled, he would have lost even if he wasn't TKO'd from the body shots. I don' t know what happened to him during the fight but maybe Lomachenko's constant pressure got to him.

Wrong time for SGA to go cold, he only made 1 of his 6 attempts in the fourth quarter when they were trailing and then adding 3 turnovers to make it worse.

Celtics are cruising with a 16-point lead right now. Unless they choke in the fourth, they are taking the series lead. Somebody else in the Cavs needs to step up if they want to win game 3.

~ but this must be good news for ftx's creditors, yes?
There's no doubt about it. When collecting payments for what's owed to you, it's always good to get something than nothing. If creditors will be getting back 118% up to 142%, then that's certainly better.

The only caveat I would say here is it's a statement coming from FTX CEO and the word 'expected'. Some things don't always go according to plan and the actual proceeds might be less than their $16.3 Billion estimate.

Forum related / Re: Why is this common here.

The OP is probably talking about the regular topic creator in the News section. To OP, it's not common but I am guessing that member is doing it out of habit. The other few members who does the same are probably just following that posting style.

If we're talking about all-time, then it's most likely a loss but I don't even know the exact amount or the close estimate. I'm sure all casino games I played for year ended up in net loss but I'm not sure about sports betting. For the latter, maybe break-even or close to that.

The thing is that even if he wins with the help of crypto as part of his campaign slogan, he'll most likely stick to the traditional financial system once he sits in office. Maybe he'll sign bills favorable for crypto once it's in his table but I doubt he'll initiate one. As part of the Executive, he just can't openly support crypto as fiat alternative.

So no team will be swept in the semi-finals huh? The way the Nuggets handled game 3 was a huge statement that they are still the defending champions. They are surely back in business after that emphatic victory. The Nuggets probably need to thank the NBA management for not suspending their player ;D

It's back to the drawing board for the Wolves' coaching staff.

For the Finals, Leverkusen @1.84 is not bad at all. I think the odds is justified. Since they will be winning the Bundesliga soon, it's only natural that Leverkusen will be fielding their best available players in this match.

If you feel like taking more risk, then Atalanta @4.0 is also a good deal.

Leverkusen have already secured their Bundesliga Championship quite some time ago.
The odds you've posted are for the full time result. They indeed look really good for Atalanta, but I don't think many would be betting on Leverkusen losing the game, given they're undefeated in like 50 games in a row. But maybe if they suffer a loss in one of the 2 remaining league games, it would be a good bet to make.

Odds for the outright winner of the trophy are:
Leverkusen: x1.45
Atalanta: x2.75
My bad, what I was thinking at the time of posting that was they play 38 games in total like Premier League and La Liga. It totally slipped my mind that they play less.

The numbers for Atalanta are still decent as outright winner.

As a bettor, do you think this match will be decided by a penalty shootout? My guess is it will be over in 90 minutes + stoppage time.

Good thing but I don't know why the BNB chain needs to launch its second layer opBNB, I mean the Binance main network BSC has really low fees and the transactions on it are fast.
Fees on BSC is still relatively low but you'll feel it when you constantly move assets. From my experience, transferring NFTs from gaming became costly when I have to move them through the games marketplace. I had to spend at least $10 daily on transaction fees alone. With opBNB, a $1 seems a lot already.

I found out recently that BNB Chain also launched their own Layer 2 which is what they call as opBNB. Basically, it's a scaling solution to the BNB Smart Chain and it also aims to provide users with lower transaction fees and faster confirmation. From my experience, it is indeed cheaper but confirmation is almost the same with BSC (L1). I think this is a good addition to the BNB ecosystem and will probably benefit projects with gaming niche the most.
I think opBNB has been launched in October 2023, if you look at the launch period, opBNB has been operating for almost a year. Maybe you only found out about this information recently, but in reality this project has been running for almost a year, I hope that with this information we can be more active in finding out about newly created networks so that we can benefit from the new projects created.
I didn't say that the project was launched recently. I said I found out recently.

It could be done at a later stage in highschool or in college but it should be part of a bigger umbrella of Financial Education. It will be discussed along with savings, investing and smart spending.

Teaching about responsible gambling alone could backfire to some students. Instead of turning their backs, they could be more curious and try it.
