The wallet developed by the team, Daedalus is very good. Syncing is a bit long (1-2h) but then you're good to go. You'll be able to store your ADA safely. Moreover, with staking incoming, you'll need to have your ADA in a Daedalus wallet to earn your share so now is a good time to set it up.

Cardano is a PoS coin, so staking will eventually come. Last ETA I saw was Q2 2018.
You'll have to possibilities to earn reward :
1. Running a node/staking pool yourself (running a machine 24 hours) to receive ADA. [Need computer + always on + node install + XXXXX amount of ADA]
2. Delegating your stake through the wallet to another staking pool so you will not have to keep your computer online. [you can do it with any amount of ADA, you don't need to keep your PC running]

There are many competitors to ethereum now like ada, eos, I am hoping ada will definitely give ether a strong competition, I also know Daedalus wallet for ada. The only concern with cryptosphere is government crackdown in different countries, once most countries welcome crypto like Japan, crypto space will moon in a flash.

just put your coin in the exchange platform. i recommend binance! i also have coin in that platform but its just too risky in the platform its a lot of headached if your coin going down in price just like mine. my capital is not yet recovered from the loss of 50%. i dont know whats going-on in ada coin why down to 1.9 from 3.8 last march.. i just hope it will recover soon.

currently I use Indodax to store cardano coins, because here I feel more comfortable, because many families, friends and some seniors are here, so it can make me comfortable.

I think MyEtherwallet is also a safe wallet.It is one of the compatible wallet available for now.If you don't want your wallet to be hacked,use MyEtherwallet.

I think the safest wallet for hodling cardano is the daedalus wallet. I don't know about any other wallet that can hold cardano. Incase you find out more, kindly update us about it. It will be of help to me.

For me, I used Myetherwallet since i started to invest in crypto and based on my experience i did not encounter any problems from using it and aside from that it's free and safe to use and there are lots of people already that can proved on it's safety security features.

I am holding cardano on daedalus, it is the official wallet for cardano and it had been recommended by the developer of cardano themselves, it is secure than other wallet to save our cardano.

Yes they are seriously to building the platform of cardano, that's why cardano is one of my portofolio of investment in cryptocurrencies because i am sure it will be value in the future.

I have read several comments at this thread. Some people recommend Daedalus and other say myetherwallet. I think you can chose both for holding your cardano. Both are usable, simple and safe. Let's try mate

There are many wallets to store cardano so we can store cardano in many wallets but my opinion is hardware wallet this is the most secure wallet in crypto world , we can buy different types of hardware wallets lot of people using crypto exchange wallets to store their crypto assets actually that's not a good way to hold long term.

Daedalus wallet is such a bulky and heavy wallet back when I last downloaded it, one of the reasons why I didn't hold cardano, I had to sell because wallet too complicated, I don't know perhaps they have something lite now or other alternative wallet that can hold ada, soon I will have to buy my ada back, maybe try staking for reward.

Don't have your coins/tokens in any exchange. It doesn't matter if it is Binance or something else. It is too risky. The most secure way to hold your crypto is hardware wallet (trezor, ledger).

regarding hardware wallet trezor - I recommend Trezor model T , it has full support for Cardano. On the other hand, Trezor model one doesn't have.

I am still holding my ADA in Binance wallet as i am regular trader in Binance. Holding in any ADA wallet like Adalite or Exodus wallet is good to use and for staking. Holders can use Automic wallet for holding ADA but i prefer to hold in Binance wallet, if i want to participate in staking, i will use then ADALITE, or Exodus wallet.

for me it just sleeping in my exchange wallet. for the past 2 years there's nothing problem I have encountered. I use binance to hold my cardano. I plan to hold more if I get funds coming from some bounty campaign.

Daedalus Wallet is the main wallet that is widely used by investors for Cardano coins and of course Daedalus Wallet is also designed to be a very secure, fast and private platform than other wallets for Cardano coins.
I am also sure that Cardano is very compatible with various well-known exchange wallets such as Coinbase and Binance, but unfortunately Coinbase and Binance are centralized trading platforms and it is not recommended.

I tried to google the information and found something really good about Daedalus Wallet and because it means so much I read it in detail on the main Daedalus website.

If DeFi is developed on Cardano, I would think of using a personal wallet. Right now I just host ADA on Binance and everything is fine. Hope we will have more better wallet apps in the future, I love Vietnam C98 wallet.

There are a lot of wallets which are too good for holding the ada coin. I suggest you to use the binance wallet. The binance wallet provide you all the opportunities . You can easily deposit that coin and your coin will be safe.

Binance exchange is the best wallet for holding ADA so every big holder holding and they are holding and staking for the long term so we can say ADA is saved for hold on any kind exchnage.

At one time, I used the Daedalus cryptocurrency wallet, which is very suitable for storing and staking ADA. But, when the update was released, my system stopped seeing the Daedalus wallet, since it did not find support for Windows 7. Maybe the developers have updated Daedalus today.

Does the wallet really have any influence to hodling cardano? I don’t really know but one thing I know is the best exchange for easy and efficient investment and tradings. They’ve got a robust security system and they are developing an inclusive exchange features that will offer defi and cefi programs like staking and borrowing and users will be able to buy crypto via cheaper means of payment like simplex
At this pace, Bitay will become one of the best, if not the best exchange as they have also integrated NFTs which is a huge boost as well

But For now, there are several wallet that more usable, But I don't believe those are safely.

i also have coin in that platform but its just too risky in the platform its a lot of headached if your coin going down in price just like mine. my capital is not yet recovered from the loss of 50%.

If you have your private key or private key on hardware wallet you can use any ADA wallet at any time. So you can find out which wallet suits you best for certain circumstances. For mobile phone you would like to use yoroi when you are behind your computer you might want to use a web based wallet or even a full node wallet. You can use them all at the same time using the same private key.

Shoot! Paragen is growing rapidly, I'm always doing a lot of research about upcoming projects and almost 9 out of 10 times I heard the name of Paragen. I think the team is chasing the success so hard, imo, they gonna be the biggest platform for metaverse projects

As of now there are many cardano wallet,like flint,yoroi,vespr,nami, and last but not the least Daedalus.buy cardano has no official wallet ,but in website the primary wallet highlighted is Daedalus, but the difference of Daedalus does not support other block chains ,for my opinion it's not the best option if I want to hold all of crypto in single wallet,so it's your decision which wallet you preferred

Currently, there are many popular multi-chain wallets available for storing ADA. I am currently using TrustWallet, SafePal, and Exodus, all of which seamlessly support the Cardano blockchain. It is a bit unfortunate that Binance Web3 wallet does not yet support Cardano, so I cannot use it to decentralize risk.
I have not delved too deeply into the Cardano ecosystem, so I have not yet tried using dedicated wallets like Yoroi or Daedalus. For now, I am primarily focused on investing in ADA and prioritizing convenience over POS-related features.
