Stable Coins Forum / Re: BUSD vs USDT
« Last post by bitmover on Today at 06:31:36 PM »
USDT issuer Tether has announced a reorganization of the company as it moves beyond stablecoins.

The four new divisions will focus on data, finance, energy and education, reflecting investments in technology, financial infrastructure, bitcoin mining and digital education respectively.

P.S. Who has any thoughts on this? I think that's positive news.  8)

They are probably making a lot of money and are now thinking about how to make even more.

I just hope they don't lose money in those projects and usdt loses it peg to usd...

Only the admin can't understand the behavior of people. The user has to come to the public to display his or her character to everyone that he is has changed and that will be how the person response to comments and the thread is creating. The character of the person would display to the admin might not be the same with other people. Private discussions is good but the person will still come to the public to interact with others. So it is good for the person to come to the public. And the person must have a thick skin because definitely there must be an attacks.

Change is a constant thing and it must be in gradual process. You don't rush someone to change his or her character immediately but allow them to adapt to the environment.

I understand what you are saying, but I think you have not understood me or I have not explained myself well. When a user really regrets it and wants to change, the first thing they should do is recognize their mistake, and after that first step, if the user has another opportunity, demonstrate it. Sending a private message and showing that the user is sincerely sorry is very easy and gives that person another chance. Trusting that user again and watching them continue with the same behavior over and over again is a waste of time.

@ABCbits, Bukele seems to be a tough nut to crack, although debts have to be paid one way or another, and I remembered we discussed this on BTT and @stompix brought up some interesting data indicating that Bukele has found some alternative financing methods.

If nothing else, the man is skilled in maneuvering between keeping all positions open in case he needs them :)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« Last post by taufik123 on Today at 06:21:12 PM »
-snip-
It will still be look that way, BRC-20 or ordinals or Runes, the same effect on the network. And for average joe Bitcoin investors, it's not like we wanted to see the fees going up again.
I don't know what the Bitcoin network will be like when the Rune Protocol comes into existence and it will be a memecoin Protocol for Bitcoin and more NFTs that own memecoins.

Now the lowest transaction fee is at 10 sat/vb and the highest is 79 sat/vb, but I hope it doesn't give a bad congestion effect like in the last few months before when ordinal and BRC-20 appeared.

Dogecoin Forum / Love it or hate it, but DOGE made history!
« Last post by XFinite on Today at 06:20:19 PM »
Do you guys know what day tomorrow is  ;)? I believe most of you probably do. Doge has come long enough to be king of meme coins. it has done enough to earn its spot on top memecoins.
it has also been a fun token, real token, and whatever you say, but it's also been a good investment. I am sure OG holders can relate to this when Elon Musk tweeted about the Lion King meme of him holding up the dogecoin dog, and that day the dogecoin rose up that nobody had imagined that with that significant supply could go up to that price. The value increased by about 339% to $0.03. But before that happened, the price was hovering between $0.0001 and $0.002.

Now to think that person holding memecoins long-term is stupid, cos memecoin doesn't fit for this hodl. But most people back then probably felt like this for DOGE.  :(

I'm gonna ask you all  :D: how many of you have been holding doge until now? Are you gonna buy again or get rewards in DOGE while doing some tasks like we used to do in 2019??
I believe some of you were tipped in $DOGE and became holders that day, cause that's how it happened to me..  ;D

Bitcoin Forum / Re: SHOULD I CARE ABOUT BITCOIN HALVING
« Last post by Mega Mind on Today at 06:19:49 PM »
It's a matter of days before the next Bitcoin's halving following the news from monitoring Bitcoin halving countdown tool. And more people seem to be talking about this year's halving than the previous ones.

There's been conversation that this year's halving will be different in some ways, largely because of Bitcoin Spot ETF approval. But I'm wondering why a non Bitcoin miner like myself should care so much about the Bitcoin Halving except that I've seen some CEX rolling out events like I BTC treasure chase for traders and others. While we earn from events as such, what's else.

It's clear Bitcoin Miners are at present earning 6.25 BTC from new block they create and that reward will be reduced to 3.125 BTC from my readings. So how does making BTC scarcer benefit crypto traders generally?

How is everyone else preparing for the halving? Please share.

You should care about the halving imo, cos after that BTC Will be scarce and it might lead to a parabolic run according to analysts.. positioning yourself is ideal. What's the 1Btc treasure something you mentioned?

It's an event done on platforms in preparation for the BTC halving, you know, where there are different pools of BTC they share in different phases, 0.4, 0.5, 0.1Btcs that they're giving out to traders. I believe they want to make halving event go viral. I've seen it on Bitget and I'm sure of Binance is doing same.

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) / Re: What i should look in a dex?
« Last post by KingsDen on Today at 06:19:09 PM »
I prefer both cex and dex tbh.For example currently i am using Bitay and Bitay is launching the CeDeFi program, which will enable one-click trading on decentralized exchanges from its own platform. This is a feature that i am look in an exchanges.
In an equilibrium, the CEX and DEX needs to co-exist. Whereby an average user who is not technically inclined can also use the CEX while the savvy ones will use the DEX. That's the real essence of this industry, liberty.
For Dez choice, look at liquidity and the number of active developers maintaining the exchange. A mal-maintained DEX is just a time bomb that could be triggered any moment.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Enkrypt wallet?
« Last post by jeraldskie11 on Today at 06:15:42 PM »
I have been using it for less than 3 months after the Metamask wallet was hacked by hackers, so I decided on this option. Do you have positive experiences with this wallet as an extension of MEW?
I have been using Metamask wallet for years now and I commonly used it for airdrops by connecting wallets to their site which is a little bit risky but I didn't experience losing any tokens from it. So for me, in terms of security Metamask is good. But when I used it for transferring assets sometimes I experience pending transactions, thus transactions really bothered me. So I think it's better to use another wallet, and I recommend Coinbase wallet because I didn't experience pending transactions.
