Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Simple practices to improve trading.
« Last post by jeraldskie11 on Today at 02:32:07 PM »
Since trading is directly related to money, it certainly carries great risks. So a newbie must take training before starting trading. There are many traders who are not willing to do demo trading. They are also willing to lose to learn. Because they do not consider the money used for learning as loss. Currently for learning and as a newbie who wants to earn he can earn there by copy trading though there is no guarantee that he will profit there. If the trader follows a successful or experienced trader then he can learn trading very quickly.
Yeah you're right, but at the same time I feel them. When I was new in trading, because of the wrong belief that trading can make you rich quick, I directly enter into live trade instead of doing a back test or forward testing. As a result, I experience losing money even though I lose 1$ in a trade but if we combine the loses that you make it weighs a lot. This was the mistake that I made in trading before that might possible to happen to new traders.

I would be honest if I say that I am rather addicted to checking crypto prices. Even if I dont plan to sell or trade right now or in nearest future, I still check coingecko page probably once every few hours, and when I am away from pc and mobile is in my hand, I check crypto portfolio app, that updates prices. I cant explain why I do it. I might say that partly because it changes my mood, from cheered when everything is up, and have a feeling of being tired or apathy when everything is red. With years being spend together with crypto, I cant help myself from checking everything frequently.
You're basically every one of us. We're all checking the prices whether we sell or not and it has become a habit for most of the crypto investors because it is normal to check the market on a daily basis. Wherever we go, when we've got some time to check, we do it and whatever is the occasion or the situation of the market, we're going to check it once in a while.
Always checking to see the status of the market if you'll buy or sell could be understandable if you're investing in altcoins and not Bitcoin. Bitcoin is more of a long-term investment and should considered as such.
When you see Bitcoin that way, then there'll really be no need to check if it's time to buy or sell. Timing the market isn't really a healthy approach for bitcoin investment because the market is highly volatile and unpredictable, you may never know what turn it'll take in the next minute, so the best option is just to buy ( at any time) and HODL .

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Fear or greed
« Last post by doc on Today at 02:28:51 PM »
If we don't have much time in crypto, we should be a holder, because we only buy when it's bearish and hold until the next bull run. I also don't have much time in the crypto world because I'm busy in the real world, so I only trade on weekends when I have free time.
Not many people can afford to have a lot of time to always be at the exchange, so we have to be able to manage our time to always trade well. Becoming a holder of several potential coins is the right step.
You're both right, I totally agree that becoming a potential coin holder is the right move if we don't have time to trade. Trading requires free time and of course we have to focus on making market analysis and making price predictions that will happen. This is very difficult to do if we are busy in the real world

Good move din sila diyan, dahil handa silang pakinggan ang panig both sides. Hindi lang sila basta sunod sa pag block o ban kailangan ay may valid reason bago nila alisin ang Binance.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Halving likelihood to be in red?
« Last post by doc on Today at 02:24:48 PM »
I do believe that we are going to be in green for the longest time, its not going to get to become a red for a long time. Not saying that we are never going to see red, it is actually going to be something that will be temporary and not going to get any different because green will be the end result. This should be something that could actually change it. I personally believe that we are going to end up with seeing greater and greater results with coming months in the future, we just need to hold it as long as possible.
The halving was really red as the Op stated it clearly in the topic. And even the mempool was brutally red. But the green has been there before the halving and still on the green till now. And now that the halving is over, everyone is expecting the ATH. And the predicted price of bitcoin in the season is $100k to $150k, but we seen the All Time High. We are all waiting for the greater result that is coming.
That's right, before the halving occurred, many coins had increased in price and bitcoin had also touched a new ATH, so after the halving it looks like we will enter a bearish season where the price of bitcoin will fall slowly. To increase the price to $100k is very difficult and unlikely to happen this year.
Anything can happen in the crypto space, even though we see that the current bitcoin market seems to be struggling, we don't know what will happen in the next 2 or 3 months. If there is good news about bitcoin, I think bitcoin will soar and touch the previous ATH again. so be patient and wait for what will happen in Q4 this year

For long run keeping then container of money i.e if it means holding in a non custodial wallet  and for easy convertion of holdings then CEX. It all depends on your goals.
If this isn't what you meant you could try and elaborate but a wallet should be as private and have only your access like your normal Pocket wallet.
Inasmuch as self custodial wallets are considered to be the safest when it comes to bitcoin storage, let's also consider what what happens when someone loses his private key, that means only one thing, all your funds are gone and can never be retrieved.
But a reputable exchange on the other hand could also offer strong security measures to protect your funds, and are also very easy to use too.

Plus, some of these exchanges also have insurances to cover for any losses, just incase something eventually goes wrong and you end up incurring some losses. And being government regulated adds some sort of an extra layer of security on it, even though it wouldn't be the best option for those who value anonymity and privacy, it's still worth considering when looking at safety even though you might argue this.

Binance Coin (BNB) / Re: How strong is the Binance coin?
« Last post by doc on Today at 02:21:45 PM »
The Binance team will always have a strategy to keep its coins from dropping too deeply. This is a complete team, as is the project. Binance has an exchange and also a Binance smart chain network. Binance exchange always has a launchpad event that uses BNB coins. This is a good team strategy, worthy of appreciation
The strategy used for Binance is too often to do the same thing, usually they will burn the total supply owned by BNB and provide a launchpad on the Binance platform, they should provide a new strategy that can have more impact on BNB so that the price increases faster .
Everything needs a process, friends, so Binance must always think about this. If they want the price of BNB to be high they can burn their BNB supply, but will it last long because altcoins will always follow bitcoin. So the policy implemented is correct by holding a launchpad event so that the BNB coin can remain stable and not decline sharply

Binance Coin (BNB) / Re: I Am Now Into BNB: Happy, Hoping, Doubting
« Last post by doc on Today at 02:19:29 PM »
If you have free money to hold long term and wait for your target to be achieved, it could be said to be not important. but as a small investor who has limited funds to wait until a target that is too high is achieved, that is a difficult thing to do
That's right, we have to pay attention to small things in cryptocurrency price movements so as not to make the wrong decision. Due to limited funds, we have to be careful when we want to get into cryptocurrency. Always pay attention to price movements so that we can determine the desired profit.
That's why we have to do research and make an analysis before investing, so that with limited funds we can make a profit and not lose due to wrong investment. Caution and experience are the main capital in investing.

Ethereum Forum / Re: How will ETH fare throughout the year 2024?
« Last post by doc on Today at 02:17:22 PM »
but some news is circulating that it is possible that the SEC will approve an Ethereum ETF. even though those are just assumptions and predictions. Let's just see in the next few months, because it could be accepted or maybe the SEC will reject it.
It is still possible that the SEC will approve the ethereum ETF for quite some time because it seems that the ethereum developer has not yet provided the improvements that the SEC is interested in. I am sure that if the SEC has given approval for an Ethereum ETF then the price of ethereum on exchanges will increase.
that's right, if the SEC approves an ethereum ETF, the price of ethereum will rise. but if there is bad news about bitcoin that coincides with the ETF being approved until the price of bitcoin falls, will the price of eheereum rise because the ETF is approved. Anything can happen. And ETFs are only one factor that will have a good effect on ethereum if approved, while bad news is the enemy of price increases themselves
