However, any of our investment that gave us many profits than expected, so be it but for any of us to know the altcoin that will rule this year, will be impossible to get correctly or find because it will follow bitcoin price movement for it to soar to an extent of ruling the crypto space this year.

However, many people have suffered by investing in altcoins.  I myself exchanged altcoins a few days ago but did not make much profit. For me, I don't think there is new things that has capture investors attention like the Defi. I think ever since we had the ICO trend in 2018 bull run. The next trend that we had in the last bullrun is Defi and we are yet to see any positive sign like the previous years or maybe because Bitcoin halving has not been reach.

What I observed from the last altcoin bullrun is that new coins emerge the market when we have bullrun, I will advice we wait till after April when halving will be done and perhaps by that time, the developers will have some new stuff that will capture the mind of he venture capitals and retail investors to start a otter altcoin bull run but please make sure that you lower your expectations.

There are many coins available that already exist and have the potential to increase with the arrival of the halving.I think investors will hold back on new projects, especially since you yourself know that many are scams.

To be honest, I don't like new projects, they're too risky.  I don't have the ability to research new projects.  I prefer old coins, of course top coins.  If I have the time and opportunity, I will learn to do research.  Unfortunately I'm busy in the real world.
