You are not the only one, many of us have had this problem. https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=318635.msg1511915#msg1511915
It seems that everything is happening more often, because now in the period when I am writing this post, I got the 503 error several times.
I think that it is up to the hosting, the admin should have insight into whether the limit has been exceeded.
I wouldn't be surprised if chat affects this issue. By default, the forum returns to the index page after each action, which is an additional and unnecessary loading of the chat.

working on resolving the issue

Sad to say that forum is mostly unusable for me today. :P
I got more than ten error pages, and I couldn't go back to the link of page I wanted to read.
Waiting for admin to fix this, but I have to say it sucks, maybe I got to spoiled in bitcointalk forum, but I learned to appreciate when something is online and working most of the time, like bitcoin.

working on it ...
btt was launched 8 years before us, and have a budget that allows them to run an entire server farm as hosting ...

Today i got different kind of error which happened on about 09:48 UTC+0 where the link redirected to https://www.altcoinstalks.com/err/503.html#msg1512484 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/err/503.html#msg1512484) with different message (see screenshot below).

I see, i thought it's just me. Last time i checked that thread, they only talk about website totally down rather than showing error.

Now you have a real challenge.
More activity on the forum brings additional profit from advertising but also increases costs. I hope that it is possible to make a balance.

It seems the admin made a custom error 503 page, instead of the hosting error page. That is ok, but I think the problem is not solved.

Is it possible for chat loading to affect additional load?
Maybe, set the option "Return to topics after posting by default" as default. I think that many people do not know about this possibility, so they just needlessly load chat after every post and redirect to the index page.
