Will PolkaDot be next Ethereum?

Many of us believe that PolkaDot is going to be the next ehtereum for its multi-potentialities in the next. Dot is technologically sophisticated than Ethereum so far where Ethereum is upgrading its 2.0.  Dot is growing very popular to the investors, Validators, Crypto lovers and analyzers. Do you think DOT will be the next Ethereum?

I vote for Ethereum, for me it is too early to be sure of anything, let alone a replacement. Obviously we know ethereum has been doing this for quite some time.

Currently I still believe in ethereum and obviously I chose it.

Not convinced, as well as too early to tell imo. Depends on how Ethereum upgrades performs this year or whether Dot outperforms.

I have not use the polk network so it will be difficult to make any recommendation base on nothing, while eth on the other hand is a familiar territory to all - although the network fee is killing us  But i will go with Eth.

DOT has unique characteristics, it is true, but as we say in my country "DOT has to drink a lot of Jack Daniels to get where Ethereum is". When the others advance Ethereum advances more, there we have ETH 2.0. I don't think DOT will ever reach the level of Ethereum.

Too early to say that because Ethereum still alive and dominant in cryptos besides Bitcoin. I don't underestimate Dot's potential, but we all know and convince Eth will not be kick out as the rank 2. So far in terms of upgrading Eth is up to date despite of its disadvantage of high gas fees which I think annoying.

PolkaDot is a valuable cryptocurrency. Depending on the increase in market volume, the DOT price will also increase. I don't expect DOT to replace Etherium.

For now I still believe and believe in ethereum, to remember in crypto anything can happen and it remains to be done how to continue to provide renewable and fun innovation.

@exgoal the years and the trajectory of Ethereum is only surpassed by Bitcoin, I highly doubt that a project (very good project) like DOT can unseat ETH from its deserved position in the market, users and developers. I would find it hard to believe that people saw it as a simple numbers competition on Coinmarketcap or similar (I'm not saying that for you) and think that what makes a project good is the money it manages to be worth.

Nobody expects DOT will surpass Ethereum but many of traders, investors, crypto lovers believe that DOT may be be a competitor of Ethereum or next of Ethereum not upper of Ethereum. It means DOT can be the 3rd best coin after Bitcoin and Ethereum. This is the main motto or thinking of DOT lovers.
