As promised, a halving will take place every 6 month to a year
Meaning the tokens rewarded for activity on this forum will be reduced progressively with time, ideally every 6 month to 1 year.
Previously there was a reduction in token distribution but it did not follow a specific set of rules, this time it is going to set these rules for future cases.
This 1st halving will be a bit special, as we will decrease the amount of tokens per points but we will increase the amount of points per posts.
From now on,
100 points = 1 ALTS (Previously it was 10 points = 1 ALTS)
New topics will have 10x more points than previously , thus they will not suffer from effects of halving
Points awarded to replies will be based on content
Maximum points awarded to replies and topics will be x 5, thus effectively halved if compared to the new point per ALTS
Withdrawal will be now possible once you have 5000 points but later will be increased to 10 000 points
this information will be sent to users in the coming days.

unfortunately yes, as i have no way of tracking the points you had before change happened, as a result, there is this unfortunate side effect.

you can always apply to exchange points, i process them every month or 2-3 months based on demand and quantity of requests.
halfing never happens before processing all qualified requests.

Thank admin for passing the clear rules about Halving ALTS.
I think we should announce the ALTS halving schedule before 1-2 months, so the members can decide to withdraw ALTS themselves.

can we discuss future of ALTT in some thread? I see that this one linked is closed for discussion
I think that many members could share some great ideas when they read about the total change in strategy
maybe there is some topic that i am not aware of, if yes it should be also linked in quoted thread

The ALTT token should have more space here or at least these topics about it should be more visible. I struggled a lot until I found this, somewhat unexpected that the section is called "Our Token" at the same time, it is in the subboard where forum matters are discussed.
Bit confusing for newcomers

fully agree with you ALTT token can be a great tool to grow this forum, Admin had big plans for it, so I hope we will make the spark that will start the fire again. In begin of the forum there was a lot going on and we were rewarded as mods with ALTT, members could also get some ALTT for being active in exchange for their points
to be honest I don't know how it looks today with ALTT and couldn't find more info about latest news and developments, plans for ALTT
so yes let's bring back the discussion because ALTT token is really worth attention, especially now!

there was also special /code for Karma in the past, when one have seen some great post could write /karma (if I am not mistaken) and admin could reward such posts with special points and karma, or other members, mods
I can't find any info about this too, for sure it changed with time, would be great to know were to look for such info, make some child boards and pin it there, if we have such tools right now of course and if not is worth to talk about it maybe somebody will come with some fresh idea how to use it

I was searching for the ALTT discussion thread, but I was unable to find any. This section has only a handful of threads where we may discuss ALTT. Today, I bought some ALTT to participate in the 2024 New Year Raffle/Lottery and bought ten tickets. The Raffle will be closed on 2nd January. So, whoever wants to participate should join as soon as possible.
I didn't know the price of the ALTT token, but when I checked Pancakeswap, I understood that the price of ALTT is very cheap. I don't know the tokenomics of ALTT yet. I will search for the thread to read more details about it. 1 ALTT for 100 points is too cheap. Posters should get 1 ALTT for each point since it's too cheap.
Edit: Oh no. I just came to know that there are two tokens. One is ALTS, and the other is ALTT. My bad.
