Title: New Phishing Email claiming to be MEW
Post by: akhjob on June 04, 2018, 04:31:43 AM
Today, I received a phishing email claiming to be MEW. Always remember, MEW has no information about your e-mail account and they won't ask for your private keys or passwords or JSON Files or to transfer coins to another account

I received a similar one some days ago.. there are really a lot of people that try to scam via email (using probably email caught from some scam fake airdrop I joined in the past). One must pay attention!

That ones pretty clever, I haven't seen this variation before.  I wonder how many they got with this one... better than some of the ones I've seen over the past few years.. if it was worded with better English it would even be more successful. Stay safe guys!

The developers of mew needs to find a better solution in making their wallet safe,  mew was one of the best Erc 20 compatible wallet some time ago,  but because of the security breach it's no more secure to use again

No one ever gave their emails to mew. Don't believe this kinda things guys. There is no connection between your email addresses and private wallets.

I have. Several times but they always get the spelling wrong so that always alert me. On the other hand, I never click on any link from an email that has to do with crypto.  :)

the most important thing is always to continue to add insight by continuing to read often from people who may experience and want to join the crypto community so that there is always additional knowledge to be gained to avoid unwanted things.

always don't open any email that you don't know or maybe we are not sure, because the biggest place of the nest people who want to enter you computer network is on the link contained in the e-mail. it is better to differentiate email addresses for crypto registration and other needs, is the most well done way. because sometimes if we get mixed up we can one day be caught in that trap.

there's nothing wrong with strengthening it with internet anti virus which is original because at least there is a warning will arise immediately if we do the wrong thing
