I agree, But I think It already is. Not that it is accepted everywhere, but when I travel I always exchange some bitcoin for Euros or Dinar or whatever, It is a good coin for transactions now.

As an actual day to day currency.. I disagree.. it certainly can be used anywhere and be sent to anyone as a simple store of value.. but the logistics involved with it being a currency in my opinion is where it becomes nearly impossible. Currency relies on prices of things to be less volatile.. for example you can't buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin and the price drop 30% the next week.. that would be crazy for a business owner. 2nd, the fees and transactions per second are just simply too slow for mass scalability... to speed up the transaction speeds of bitcoin and make it cheaper, you would be risking more centralization and some of the things that make it so great. I think bitcoin is a wonderful store of value and remarkable as a technology, but as an everyday use currency, I just don't see it.

I disagree.. it certainly can be used anywhere and be sent to anyone as a simple store of value.. but the logistics involved with it being a currency in my opinion is where it becomes nearly impossible. I would say that Bitcoin is already an international currency, how much international can a currency be when you can trade it border-less and you know what that means. The only thing now is mass adoption. I understand this might take a while to accomplish but I believe bitcoin will get there where every day stores will accept Bitcoin for payments.

I believe that people have dwelled on this topic for a bit now and quite frankly, I don't think this will happen anytime soon that's if it will happen at all. I know most of us are thinking it will be better if Bitcoin was adopted as a global currency but we know the nature of Bitcoin and what a Currency stands for within every country is definitely different in the eyes of the Government that control their economy and Bitcoin will not give them the same leverage they have with Fiat currency hence the constant haterade for Bitcoin by world Government and if this is the case, how can Bitcoin be an international currency?

For now, I don't see possibilities that it will happen because majority of the country's government are still holding into their fiat and there's no way making it obsolete just because bitcoin's gonna take it place.
