Why don't you try to trade both of them?
On the Waves platform (Waves DEX) you can increase your Waves by trading tokens such as TurtleNode, MRT, and others.

I think that investment in waves would be more profitable if it's proving you are searching for, if not for any other reason then the fact that waves is almost 100× cheaper than Ethereum, for you to make x2 profit in Ethereum, the price needs to double would would be very hard but in waves, price double won't be hard because price is low to begin with.
