据 coindesk，美国证券交易委员会 SEC 文件显示，参与 Basecoin 项目的区块链创业公司 Intangible Labs 在 3 月 22 日至 4 月 3 日期间通过期货通证简明协议 SAFT 从 225 位投资者手中筹集了 1.25 亿美元资金。Basecoin 号称首个以协议确保价格稳定的去中心化加密货币，被部分业内人士誉为与美元挂钩加密货币 USDT 的取代者。
