One of the things that makes me to write this article is that I have discovered several times, Any time Bitcoin is said to rise all other altcoins will start to fall in price and if Bitcoin said to fall the altcoins will still start to fall, what is really happening with altcoins market, is that altcoins can't stand on their own, or can we say that people are the ones manipulating the altcoins price? I think altcoins price is depending on supply and demand, also negative issue.
But don't forget, whales always have market strategy.
Whales is the main factor.

Bitcoin is known to be the first cryptocurrency and still maintain its legend, it is good that altcoin came because bitcoin wouldn't have been able to accommodate as many that have bombarded it now.altcoin has helped to reduce pressure on bitcoin.altcoin can be independent of bitcoin with time but it has to gain more ground such that more investors will choose it.And never forget, that's if bitcoin relents.

The reason why altcoins are not dependent on their own ,because Bitcoin is still the King of crypto currency.
Bitcoin has been used to pairing almost all altcoins.

Altcoins can not stand on its own because Bitcoin is paired to all altcoins on the market, and being the first crypto coin, it has that advantage, not possible to change now may be this control may be broken in the future.
In additions, bitcoin price pump does not reflect on the prices of altcoins because of wide range continieing dominance. Again, altcoins declining during bitcoin pump, some shows market sentiments, participants may be following markets trends partterns.

Bitcoin is always be trend centre of altcoins , Because bitcoin is the pioneer and the King of crypto currency, So that's normal if altcoins depend on bitcoin didn't independent on their own.

If it falls in the future, then bitcoin will not influence the price of altcoins and their pricing policy will be freer.

To understand why this happens you need to understand how money flows in crypto markets. When the price of BTC increases investors move their funds from altcoin to bitcoin so the market cap of BTC increases and for altcoin, it decreases. When BTC falls altcoin falls too because of BTC pair or altcoin. So rally or dump in BTC is not good for the altcoin. BTC market needs to be stable to ger a rally in the altcoin market.

We all know, altcoins always follow bitcoin progress.
Altcoins are independent on their own, because at crypto currency bitcoin is always dependent, altcoins follow bitcoin as the King of crypto currency.
Bitcoin is the pioneer, others will always be follower.

Maybe the reason why altcoins are not independent because bitcoin is still superior.

I guess it is because most Altcoins was tied up to the Bitcoin price and performance and for other reasons, Bitcoin market dominance is high that's why if the market was down it literally affect most of the altcoin price in the market with that fact altcoins will never be independent in contrary of what other people were saying.

Yes, I would like to see the cryptocurrency market already without this rigid dominance of Bitcoin. Otherwise, it turns out to be a decentralized cryptocurrency with rigid centralized price dominance. This is not entirely normal. I think that over time it will be so and this dominance of Bitcoin will disappear.

It will be very difficult and it will take a long time to see the dominance of Bitcoin drop from the crypto market, when altcoins are not paired with Bitcoin, they will be paired with USDT.
But what we see is, all the altcoins have a different percentage drop in price as the number of requests decreases, Bitcoin will always dominate the crypto market because Bitcoin has a large number of communities from 2009.

The dominance of bitcoin over altcoins is still very strong and, in my opinion, it rests on the belief of its holders that it will grow in price for a long time to come. This, apparently, will continue for some time, but anyway, someday the price growth of bitcoin will stop, after which it will sharply lose in price and capitalization, and hence dominance.
The cryptocurrency market is said to be a decentralized market, since there is no body to manage it. However, we are also facing very strong price dominance, which is contrary to its decentralized nature. Sooner or later it will be fixed.

It’s because until now Bitcoin is still dominating in trading and market capitalization. It is a common gateway for altcoins to be traded aside from stablecoins like USDT, BUSD, etc. However, we cannot say that all of them are dependent on Bitcoin’s uptrend or downtrend.

I have already experienced that last time in 2018 during the great Bitcoin crash where a few of my altcoins have super pumped and made me a fortune for at least a couple of years. But for now, most of the altcoins are still relying on the Bitcoin’s dominance.
