As predicted, interesting events in favor of Ukraine on the fronts with Russia continue. Ukraine deliberately announced its offensive in the south near the Kherson region, and in response to this, Russia pulled all the elite units there, practically exposing the eastern front. This 20,000-strong group of Russians in the south found themselves surrounded and in a fiery cauldron under the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from high-precision weapons, and also actually found themselves pressed against the Dnieper River with all four bridges damaged for withdrawal and supply.
At the same time, Ukraine suddenly broke through the Russian defenses in several places in the Kharkov direction, from where the troops were transferred to the south, and in the first half of September liberated about 8,500 square kilometers of its territory with about 300 settlements. The Russians fled so quickly that they abandoned equipment and ammunition, as well as looted property. So, only in the Kharkov direction in the first half of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured 49 combat-ready Russian tanks, 134 armored combat vehicles and many other equipment. For comparison: for example, in Hungary, there are 46 tanks in total. Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are pulling up equipment and supplies closer to the front that has moved about 80 kilometers and is preparing for a new wave of offensive. Russian analysts fix the concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire length of the 1300-kilometer front and do not know where the Armed Forces of Ukraine will advance further. Russians are increasingly refusing to fight and deserting, prompting Putin to use the Kadyrovites as barrage units to shoot down retreating Russians. Interesting developments continue.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also suffer losses, but much less than the Russians. The other day I was burying my relative, who died at the front near Donetsk on September 9th. In the village where he previously lived, almost the entire population took to the streets, forming a human chain on both sides of the road. The roadside was covered with flowers, and the residents themselves, as a sign of respect for the deceased, all knelt down, including even the elderly. Such a nation cannot be defeated.
