So, I have been in search of some of the easiest methods to accept crypto payments as an ecommerce merchant. I started off with sharing my wallet address with clients who were interested in making payments in crypto. But now as my client base has increased, keeping track of the payments has become difficult. I have more customers who are willing to pay in cryptocurrencies. So, I decided to search for an alternative way and came across these two methods that I have mentioned below and the payment gateways that I found reliable:

This is one of the easiest methods to accept crypto payments as a business. You can easily integrate the crypto payment gateway to your website and clients will be able to make payments using that gateway. I will also mention some of the low fees merchant account service providers who provide API integration solutions to their users to accept crypto payments on their business website.

So, these are the two methods that I found the best and easiest but I am open to know about more methods that can be used to accept crypto payments.

In a country where the usual institutions can be banned working and doing business with cryptocurrency, it can so hard if not difficult for a business to be accepting crypto-based payments. So there can be no choice for small entrepreneurs to just wait when there will be easing of regulations and when there can be an approved outfit to be servicing this need. In other words, there is nothing you can do but maybe be a part of a lobbying group to push for the government or those in power to change their stance on crypto...or maybe you can do a peer-to-peer kind of thing.

@HubertHodge Integrating APIs might sound like a complicated process but in reality it’s not. The APIs offered by a few crypto payment processors like capitalwallet, coingate and coinpayments are readymade, so you don’t need a developer to write the code or something. You just need to generate the api key and connect it to your checkout system. It’s quite simple and I’m sure whichever payment gateway you plan to use their team will help you in the integration process. Similarly, the plugins and payment buttons don't require any technical expertise. You can do it on your own.

When using QR Code-based payments it is very good because it makes it easier to make transactions, but in my opinion you should still provide payments using traditional methods using fiat currency because using QR Codes only provides an alternative payment.
