Documentary on Bitcoin as Legal tender
« on: December 31, 2023, 10:20:22 PM »
New to the forum, this morning I was browsing channels on my TV and stumbled upon a documentary about El Salvador in America. The program highlighted the unique scenario where both the dollar and Bitcoin are considered legal tender. It struck me that this approach could contribute to economic growth and potentially lower crime rates for the country.

How can it lower crime rate in a country
Contrary there exist individual that have started taking advantage of Bitcoin privacy and Lauder money or are involve in cybercrime.
It could help in assisting the economy, boost security of funds and serve like an asset like land. I'm not sure it's ready to contest with fiat as a payment method because of its growing transaction fee but as a store of value, fiat stand no chance.
