I think that users on the whole don't pay much attention to fees (of course, as long as it's not ridiculous) when they know they're getting a reliable service in return.

Unfortunately, in our world, privacy comes at a price, and that's not going to get any easier in the near future imo.

It is gone, because regulators have their eyes on mixers and are trying to limit their operation. It is not easy to work in such conditions, especially given that advertising if mixers services is also being condensed. Despite the fact that there can be no real consequences for most users, bans in some countries discourage and intimidate many people from using these services. And this does not help attract new clients. Mixers must survive and must provide the services they offer. Therefore, it is not surprising that the fees are high. But I don't see any problem with that as long as the quality of provided services is high.

However, we are seeing the rise of Layer-2 solutions on Bitcoin such as Stacks, Liquid, RootStock, SatoshiVM..., this will be a new home for Inscription and the Bitcoin network will be peaceful for basic purposes.

As fees decrease, users will benefit from sending BTC to the address specified by MixTum. I even hope that MixTum can lower the minimum cost in the future, 0.0007 BTC can be reduced to 0.0005 BTC

Look, it can always be too expensive for the one who sends it, but we have to take into account that the mixer has to somehow make money for all the costs it has, as well as for some kind of profit, which is why such a service exists.

I agree with you most of the services want to gain some kind of revenue but they're providing good privacy and their mixing is working in the best way possible and that's more than enough for us.
Such services has some costs and they also want to earn money by offering those services. I think it's worth it to spend money in order to have best mixing experience and in that department Mixtum is doing a great job.

For those who want to protect their privacy and at the same time use Bitcoin for payment, these services really provide an essential service. Given that the blockchain is a public record of all transactions, it is quite logical to break the link between the coins that we keep in safe storage and those coins that we pay for something with, especially if that payment includes the delivery of some goods to our physical address.

We never know who can get hold of that data and then connect our BTC with our identity, which is by no means something that should happen.

Yeah, I understand the mechanism for determining transaction fees: the more complex, the more vB needed, the busier the network, the higher the price per vB. I think we can only expect the latter: the network is less busy, the price per vB will decrease and users pay less, MixTum itself will not need to spend too much money when operating, From there, it is possible to reduce transaction fees from 0.0007 to lower fees.

MixTum also needs income and profits to maintain its service, and users who really need it will worry too much about transaction fees. As I estimated in the table, when the amount of BTC needed to be mixed is over 1 BTC, the fee will return to nearly 5%.

Yes, you're right and whatever you said is very true. The mixers are a gift for those who want their coins to be untraceable and want those to have highest privacy. Most people who hold their Bitcoin would use mixers to send those coins at multiple wallets so others might not know that how many wallets they have and what they have done with their BTC.

I believe privacy is the most important thing in someone's life and those services help us to achieve maximum privacy with our Bitcoin. You can simply send you Bitcoin from one wallet to other and then again to other but that can be traced by chainlink experts but I'm very sure mixed coins can't be traced by anyone and thus it's a win-win situation for the one who mixes his/her coins, and for the mixers.

I didnt see any planned maintenance work, but better to wait from officials or manager to post more information.

From your post timestamp it looks like the website is down for several hours now, accessing it via my phone device gives me "web server down" error. There's still no official statement from OP too.
