If you teach your kids the good and the bad of gambling, they have a better chance of not engaging in the activity. They may enjoy it from time to time, but they may not have the tendency to become addicts. Education is key IMO and that goes for a lot of different things. Drugs, gambling, work, school, and nearly everything. Teach your children the pros and cons of life.

I agree with your school of taught of teaching the difference between good and bad for anyone to make a better choice rather than teaching only good and prohibiting the bad. It will make it appear as if there is something unique being hidden in the bad. But this ideology doesn't work in every environment and it doesn't fit some infants in their tender age

So, a child must come upto some certain age before this principle will be applied, else it it will back fire

Gambling should never be done in front of children, as gambling is addictive. People who become addicted to gambling have suffered losses, so you should never discuss gambling in front of your child as the cause of that loss. No problem mate, this is my experience when I raise my child so that he is not too addicted to smartphones and YouTube.
This is just my instinct as a mother who wants to save her child from bad behavior regarding smartphone addiction.

Many parents also say as you said, when they grow up, maybe they will also find their own way to learn more about life, such as cryptocurrencies, gambling, sports or maybe fighting with their friends because of trivial things.

And what you have said is very correct by not discussing gambling related and other illegal matters with your children at home but the big question always arise when such issues are raise is that why about the peer group of the child will you stop them from discussing those things with your children? And if you child goes out to play with other children then definitely they most discuss those things with their peer group so if you deprived them from knowing those things in the home, they will know it from outside. And it is good to expose your child to know some setting things in the society but it is your wisdom to know how to handle them in a good manner. Tht is when you have told them about the gambling stuff and you counsel them so that when they are discussing with peers then they would not be easily influenced.

Considering that children of this generation are too smart, it becomes wise not to tell them or show them anything about gambling. If you teach them you have indirectly drawn their minds to gambling activities and even after telling them the good and bad of gambling, these children will want to experience it themselves. From experience, whatever you tell a child not what they do and they end up doing what is in their.

So, gambling-related content and activities shouldn`t be exposed to a child. Children don`t think like adults and so might find it difficult to comprehend what they have been told and in the end act according to what they are seeing and not what they have been told.

We have found two features gambling have: it gives fun, through it people try to make money. I see nothing bad if the kids will try to get some fun through gambling. For them gambling is another form of competition. There is nothing bad if two kids compete who is right/wrong, better/stronger, won/lose. Now about money - children have little idea how exactly money are earned, spend, how much really something cost and how item or service value is build. They dont care about money a lot, as parents provide them everything. If kids get introduced gambling as some kind of fun activity, then I see nothing bad in it.

A child cannot have fun through gambling because they are too young to control their emotions. Secondly, where will a kid get money to gamble? A kid gambling means he will rely on his parents/guardian's money to gamble and it is not proper. Gambling requires a mature mind yet most adults find it so difficult to gamble responsibly then what guarantee do you have that a kid will not be addicted?

Children are exposed to competitions but gambling nah. In gambling, you must lose something when you don`t win but it's not always like that in competitions. In schools, children compete among themselves for fun and there is nothing wrong with doing it but when we talk about gambling it means a child will have to stake on something and expect a return. This can be detrimental to the child`s well-being.
