You guys might be thinking it's beneficial cause you're earning in $BTC at dollar rate but when you convert am to Naira to buy in Naira you go know say the price of goods dey also increase as the value of Naira is weaken. Import and export duties becomes very high. It's currently at $1/1600 and nothing has been down yet. We're approaching $1/2k and that would bring our economy effort down to zero(worthless)

nah the matter be that the money wey u think say you make as extra from converting to fiat,  as the rate dey high now that same extra cash this period expenses go still eat am. So I don't see much gain in it because naira dying slowly

Sir Igebotz you have said my mind. I have been an advocate for the devaluation of the dollar for Years. And those who are earning from Bitcoin are intoxicated by it and bitcoin is higher than dollar so they have forgotten the important of the local currency. They don't know that the matter they travel far, they must come back home and when they come back they would not use the foreign currency to eat but the local currency. Dollar and bitcoin can only make them to have money in the country but they can't spent them for daily spending. And CBN has increased the importation duty charges. I am not in support of di dollar increase.
