Properly: algo & prop trading / another approach to trading
« on: January 28, 2019, 08:37:59 PM »
Hi,

My name is Miłosz and I am the creator of the Properly project. Properly is a proptrading company on the forex market. We build algostategy for trading and share capital for trading on the stock exchanges. We have 10 years of experience in various markets.

We have started work on creating a token based on business and real value.
Business:
For 5 years, we have been making money for our clients using automated investment strategies on the Forex market.
Value:
We generate real profits that are not dependent on Bitcoin fluctuations.
We want to give our clients the opportunity to earn in cryptocurrencies, regardless of the market situation, that is, use the basic function of cryptocurrencies.

The name Properly is the result of our investment philosophy, and it is: a long-term approach, specifically defined investment strategy and risk management that allows to protect our capital.

That is why we decided to talk more about what it means to "properly" earn on the crypto exchanges, stocks, forex, etc.

We want to show how financial institutions approach financial markets, protect against mistakes, learn to spot market opportunities and refute popular trading myths.

We want to show how to build investment strategies, how to analyze markets, to better understand what is happening on financial markets.

We have our YT channel, on which so far, we have discussed the issues:

What is proptrading?
Why is it worth to use automated strategies?
What criteria must be met by the strategy to earn?

In another film, I talk about what Properly is.

In this topic, I want to publish:

substantive materials on investing,
transactions that are carried out by our strategies and discuss them.
analysis from the crypto market, forex, shares.
And much much more.

On Youtube write: Properly

If you would like to see our results, just write, i will send you login details to backoffice.

As we are on a forum dedicated to cryptocurrencies, it is fitting that the first analysis focus on the most important one - Bitcoin :)

At the beginning, I want to point out that our analyzes are of a trading nature, that is, their task is to assess the market situation to take the right position and, above all, to earn, not draw magic lines, whose only conclusion is either the price will go up or down.

Let’s begin.

Our strategy, which we use in virtually all markets, is based on fractals, ie the highest / lowest places in a given period. Our goal is to trade the breakouts of this places.

And so, we can see this on the BTC analysis. The last fractal is at 4300. So at this point we will start only buy BTC.

The previous fractal was at 7,500 and there we were waiting with buy positions, the market fell, and we moved with it, patiently waiting.

This is our approach - we react to what the market is doing, we do not divine the magic ball.

Lack of position is also a position. It's better to take a position too late than to catch falling knives and stay in losing positions afterwards.

We have not written anything for a long time, due to the many new projects that we have had.

From March, our results can be followed on myfxbook:

 www. myfxbook .com/members/Properly/fgbp-ea/3286461

We have also prepared educational materials to help you make investments.

#1 UNDERSTAND THE RISK
The worst thing you can do when entering an investment / investment project is to be unprepared. That's why we decided to prepare a series of tips that will help you make the right decisions!

Risk - the most important issue. We often forget about it at the beginning and remind when it is too late. Remember, the more profits you expect, the more risk you have to take. There is no risk-free investment, no one knows what will happen in the future, and despite the best intentions, a given project may fail. So before investing your funds, answer the question: will you feel comfortable in a situation where you would lose them? If not - it means that the risk is too high, look for investments that are consistent with your character. Remember that in the world of investment only you are responsible for your finances for generated profits and losses, so you have to understand and accept the risk.

Two weeks ago, we had a lossy week, and last week's capital curve is almost perfect. This shows that we have to look at trading only in the long term. A small part of the history can disrupt the true picture of the strategy.

Finally!
After 5 months of profit, a period of losses came. In fact, this is the moment that shows the actual strength of the strategy.
Over the past 3 weeks, We have returned the profit that we generated in less than 10 days in May. The most interesting thing is that one good day is enough to make up for a worse period. Will it be the same this time? time will tell

In such moments I see the advantage of automatic strategies over manual trading. I am sure that if I was involved in trading, I would probably start combining with the strategy. Trading using automated strategies, I am a bit out of the way, watching what the computer is doing and I know that sooner or later the markets will favor me because I know the statistics of my strategies.

On average, we have 4-5 months of loss each year.

I will publish "trading rules". I decided to create them because many novice traders have wrong expectations in relation to the market.
I know that they may seem trivial, but in the end you'll admit it's right, even if you disagree with me now.

#01 I understand that there is nothing certain about the stock market.

Consciousness is very important in trading. Without proper understanding, we must not open positions on the stock market. The first rule is to understand that there is nothing certain about the stock market. The stock market is a changing environment, where only the past is certain and the future can not be guaranteed. We only have a chance to achieve above-average profits.

A very common question for people who want to invest in the stock market is: how much can I earn on this? The correct answer should be: only certain thing is how much you can lose, profits are only a potential reward. The stock market is not a full-time job, you're not sure that you'll get any money every month. What's more, it may be that you will suffer losses.

The stock market is a variable environment, which is why the results differ. The average annual rate of return does not mean that every year we earn the same, it is only average. Therefore, if you want the stock market to be the only source of income for you, you must have a very large financial cushion to be able to sleep well and wait for good times.

If, however, you expect specific results from the stock exchange, know that this is the beginning of the end of your adventure with the stock exchange.

Rule # 3 Understand the project you want to invest in.
Do you know in which market it works? What competition does he have? What makes it different?
By investing your funds in any project you are actually a shareholder in a given company. Do you think that any fund would buy companies without checking what they buy? You must act in exactly the same way.
Maybe there is something that will not be consistent with your approach. Maybe the investment horizon will be too long? or maybe the risk is too high?
It's better to know all about it at the beginning.
Also remember that a given project does not work in a vacuum and encounters different problems just like any other company, and despite the best efforts of the creators, something may go wrong. Also, try to assess the environment in which the project competes. Why should it go? Where is his advantage? The creators of the project will always look optimistically into the future, does your objective eye share their enthusiasm?
It's better to reject two good deals than to lose on one very bad. Therefore, before you make a transfer, understand the industries, understand the project.
Warren Buffett did not invest in technology companies for a long time, because he did not understand them, did he lose it? No, he earned and slept peacefully because he invested in what he knew.
