As a fresher, what is the best app i can use for mining?

App? 99.9% of apps that claim you can mine coins with it are scams!
The other 0.1% it's fake mining , they will just send you coins daily without actually mining or solving blocks or anything!
They will either make you watch endless ads, steal your keys or install other malware on it or you will end with useless tokens that are not accepted anywhere for your "work".

It's also pretty easy to understand why there won't be any, your smartphone will never be able to compete in terms of hashing power even with a laptop or a standard computer before overheating, a GPU will simply "mine" 1000 times what a smartphone would so why would anyone use a smartphone to mine in the first place and how secure would that chain be?

Thanks for this, because I have tried a few apps and all of them are not mining rather they will just show their ads and waste my data.
So where can I mine ? Any tested and trusted site for it?

I assume you're looking for convenience, so i'd recommend you NiceHash Quick Miner[1]. I say it's convenient since the software automatically setup and mine most profitable coin, while you still get paid in Bitcoin[2]. The only extra work you need to do are,
1. Calculate whether it's possible to earn profit with your CPU/GPU and electricity rate.
2. Make sure your CPU/GPU isn't running at very high temperature during mining.

Maybe you can also specify what kind of coins are you trying to mine, or what device you're mining with. If you're planning on using a phone or a laptop, and hope for a decent profit, I'd suggest you try your luck on the lottery instead (as mentioned above). You said somebody asked you this so I assume you're just trying to see which platform is good that you can recommend to him, but I'd rather tell him to research it on his own, especially if you don't know what kind of device he will use to mine. Just tell him that most cloud mining is scams and if profit is his goal, he'd need to spend a lot of capital to build a decent rig. CMIIW.

This is a question someone asked me, so I think I should shear it hear so I can get some good ideas on that...
Coin mining depends on what coin are you mining and there are several ways to mine coins . You can use you laptop devices with graphics processing unit. You can use a hardware call ASICs for mining also. However you can join a mining pool which involves group of people who use their computer power to mine.

Good project?
Pi network has been around for 4 years, always coming with a "new project" always promising things and not actually delivering a thing in the end.
It's like the meme coins of promises.
Also, that's not real mining, it's juts getting referrals and opening your app like a faucet

Graphics processing is used to mine certain cryptocurrencies like ethereum. Because GPUs are more readily available and adaptable than asics, graphics processing is more accessible to individual miners.

Ethereum switched to PoS in 2022!!! that's 2 years ago, common, that has been in the news for years, you can't mine Ethereum anymore!
Also, as previously, GPU mining is on its last breath, the number of coins that are mined only with GPU as there is no ASIC for them are so few and the reward is so little it's not even worth taking into account!

It is terrible suggestion.
1. Pi network doesn't use PoW, which means you can't mine it.
2. Pi network is probable scam where it's mobile application steal your personal data.

Don't forget few months ago (before market going to bull phase) mining is GPU is barely profitable.

And even with this bull run, profitable means barely a thing.
Yeah at 5 cents per kWh (assuming that's your only consumption which is not)  you make
- 1.76 a day with a 4090
- 0.66 with a 4070

4090 is 1800 at best for most of the world so 1000 days to roi
you can get a 4070 for 500 so 800 days to roi

Raise the price per kwh to 15 cents and the 4090 rois in 6 years, better buy the damn coins!

I don't know what do you mean by "dude". But personally i only tried a bit (due to high electircy price), where i didn't experience any trouble.

Which one should I download that is good?

If you have little or no experience, i believe you should download NiceHash QuickMiner.

Where are you mining? because I saw teams mining for gold and silver? Are you here to join this team to be able to mine?

NiceHash do those thing for you, so you don't have to think about that. As reminder, you also get paid in Bitcoin automatically.

And number 3 just dropped yesterday:

Imagine that a coin that was supposed to have a valuation of 40 billion had just 40k in virtual trades and a market depth that had just 2000$ staked before 25%.
All it took was a few coins and it plummeted 99%.

Othe that that, yeah, good "project"!  8)
