I don't know if I'm right or not but I think that mixers like Thormixer and other Jambler partner might have a mechanism to block all those addresses that are liked with groups like Lazarus in order to protect themselves from authorities. They might have blacklisted those groups wallet addresses.
I'm pretty sure that people behind groups like Lazarus know very well how to get around the use of blacklisted addresses. It's a bit unbelievable to me when I see claims that some Bitcoin address belongs to hackers and anyone can see how much balance is on their addresses. So, they are capable of hacking a system and withdrawing huge amounts of Bitcoin, but they struggle a lot to hide those coins.
Am I the only one who finds this unusual?

I am thinking now that a few thousand dollars in bitcoin might be easier. But they have have about 700 BTC according to cointelegraph (https://cointelegraph.com/news/north-korea-lazarus-group-amasses-bitcoin-data).

This is a huge amount, you can't just send 100 btc somewhere and hope them to mix or exchange to some other coin easily....

I don't see them as ordinary users or as petty scammers from Telegram. After all, it is a group of intelligent people with a good knowledge of the Bitcoin network and coding, plus they have enough money to cover all expenses. I am sure that in a couple of months, they would easily convert 700BTC into a more difficult to track currency or into another Bitcoin without traces.

I think they can't really hide those coins as all transactions are visible on blockchain and could be tracked by some institutions or they might let those coins so others can see how dangerous hackers they're and others might fear them or they might get attention from media. Who knows what's the reason why they aren't moving those coins but I believe for hackers moving and cleaning of coins isn't a big issue if they are technically good.
