1. It is displayed to you and you alone
2. On receiving the data of your IP, at least here they warn you about it, unlike other resources :)
3. find in this and a good component - it can be used to check that your account is not used by someone else, respectively from another IP, because all your posts are labeled for you IP from which the post is made :)

Now I’m using a VPN, with an address in a completely different country and even a different continent :) If my previous post and this one have 2 different IPs, that means they are stored and tied to each individual post... Now I’ll publish it and write down which ones IPs are displayed for me...

From our point of view, every IP is stored by post, not just a base one.
It all depends on the implementation.
There are at least 2 variants:
1. store the basic one, store all other ones. Compare - does not match - somehow display information about this fact
2. Store the base, dynamically compare with the current one - does not match - somehow display information about this fact.
Globally, of course, storing the IP is not the best solution from the point of view of user privacy.... If you just need to check whether the user's IP is familiar or suspicious, you can store a hash of the IP + salt, and then the user's privacy is protected, and you can identify the "unfamiliar" IP.

It seems that even earlier on the Coinomize website there was no link to the ANN thread on the BTT forum, I guess it would be good to have a link to the ANN thread on altcoinstalks for all those who want to get more information about the service.

We have blocked a few high risk countries for security reasons.Thank you for the replies. As it is instructed, I tried it with another browser too but it is still the same so what I will do is to use VPN with another browser when I will use it to start the mixing service because I want to really use it to mix coins very soon. Though I was using another mixer and since I am a participant here let me be using this to mix my coins. But it might be possible that my country is still one of the countries that restricted from using the service. And I just pray that it works when I will use the VPN because there are some casinos that were given me this problem and once I used VPN it works.
We have now unblocked most of them, try again.

Though I have Tor browser in the device but I am not using it like that, so I even forgot to use it when I encountered the problem but now that you have reminded me I will use it. Even the last link your dropped just now is breaking but the first one which is to download Tor browser is working perfectly. I am from Nigeria. It is very rare that someone does not have access to coinomize. Perhaps another problem on your part.

While both Tor Browser for Android and Orbot are great, they serve different purposes. Tor Browser for Android is like the desktop Tor Browser, but on your mobile device. It is a one stop browser that uses the Tor network and tries to be as anonymous as possible. Orbot on the other hand is a proxy that will enable you to send the data from your other applications (E-Mail clients, instant messaging apps, etc.) through the Tor network; a version of Orbot is also inside of Tor Browser for Android, and is what enables it to connect to the Tor network. That version, however, does not enable you to send other apps outside of Tor Browser for Android through it. Depending on how you want to use the Tor network, either one or both of these could be a great option.

Hey I just found a cool new place where all the mixers are hiding and having fun :DYou are welcome big brother to the second forum of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Yes the forum here has many boards which you might not even know which one to follow. And if someone like you need google map to navigate the forum then others will need Compass to direct them :D. But the forum is not to hard to navigate, you can just go to the home page of the forum and scroll down to check all the boards and anyone you knows and like, you can visit it and make comment if there is any understandable topic to discuss.

Based on their last post here, it is a block for certain states, not just an individual IP address. So I was more curious about what was happening and what are the high-risk countries.

I think this is a fair reason. if these few countries are not valuable to your business and instead you are being attacked by those places then you have all the rights to block those countries. but I am not sure if for hackers and attackers these kind of blocking really matters, They'll use VPNs or any other backdoors and continue their infeltration to any system they want.

Sometimes the high roller gamblers have to complete KYC on casino sites in order to gamble and withdraw huge winnings. I guess for that they might use fake details as they won't risk their personal privacy at any cost. But, surely they can be good as referrals as they'll do a lot of mixing whenever they get urge to gamble.
In theory, this sounds ideal. But...How could they know that the coins come from a mixer? I mean mixers does their job by mixing the coins so no one can trace where the coins come from? I haven't personally mixed coins on Coinomize but I have used other mixers myself and the coins I get were totally cleaned and were easily exchanged without any issues.
I'm not sure how good a combination of mixers & gambling are. Many services mark coins from there as dirty and create additional complications and KYC requirements... That's not what any gambler wants.
For example, as I know Coinbase strictly prohibits the deposit of coins from gambling platforms.

This whole thing with clean and dirty coins is a faith that we have with the regulators and co. Many exchangers and everyone who hides behind no-kyc, but... have a rule that at some point they can ask for proof of funds because they recognize that the coins are of dubious origin.They scared us and we all know that but sometimes people get dubious about us when the coins that we received from an address has some connection with a blacklisted wallet. I believe such issue can be solved with a proper mixer and I guess the mixers that we have on this forum and are advertising their services here help us in making those coins clear for us. I believe that no coins are dirty or clean but the coins which get direct link with blacklisted wallets are not good for us.

Coinomize respects privacy and thus use can also use the site with Tor browser. Coinomize has an open spot on campaign, you can apply there.

I understand what you are suggesting, but I would not trust any third party in services like mixer.
Some mixers offer a service through a Telegram bot. I haven't tried it, I probably won't because it adds an unnecessary risk.

Guys, I think a mixer having an app is a bad idea.
1. With the APK, telemetry might be collected by the Android subsystem about the app's metadata and sent to Google.
2. You are no longer anonymous when using an app unless it has a Tor router built-in.
3. Even when you make an APK, you'll never be able to make an iOS app (except in the EU apparently), however, progressive web apps work just fine on all platforms. So why not take that approach instead?

Sadly even if we list the official clearnet, some people still fail to double check or feel that such practice is unnecessary, which leads them to fall for scams. Thanks for the feedback. I will reach out to my friend then, to notify her about it so that she can try it once again whether it's from her end due to poor network connection.
