Do you support the idelogy of crypto being regulated?

Blockchain was designed to be decentralized in order to bring to the people the freedom associated with finances. Well, many crypto users believe that once crypto is allowed to be regulated by the governments, the market will gain an additional market value in the sense that the long created tension and fear that wards off many potential investors will be cleared.

But when did that happen? At the moment there is a lot of bad news about crypto so crypto is considered a risky investment. the government will research and decide whether crypto is used in the future or not.

There are positive and negative impacts if crypto is regulated by the government. But I will only tell you about the positive impact. The positive impact is that crypto can be traded freely, better known and its value can be stable, and allows crypto to be used for transactions in general.

I hope that the government in countries in the world legalize Crypto. Therefore Crypto is digital money that uses the Blockchain system, a Decentralized financial system that gives everyone the freedom to manage their own finances. I don't see how government can regulate it.  All they can do is tax profits, which is fine, and that is what they do here.  They can require a ton of documents to buy and sell, also something they do here.  But if someone wants to find a private trader, not an exchange, nothing can really stop them.  Traditional traders that come from other markets, stock, gold, are already used to identity checks and taxes on profits, so that alone is not a huge problem.

I dont agree with a harsh regulation in crypto currency world, some regulations about the icos are necessary but it shouldn't kill the main idea, freedom.

someone's freedom to do something is no longer a dream, it is after bitcoin appears and many other altcoins follow.

I don't in general, simply because as you said - it was created to allow certain anonymity and decentralization, which is the point after all. But some regulation will have to be implemented, because otherwise they won't allow it.

I don't think it will be better if crypto is regulated by government. I guess many new bad effects and problems when it happens. At least, crypto is no longer decentralized as its characteristic.

Temporarily this can have a negative impact not only for bitcoin but for entire crypto currency market but for long term this can benefit for the crypto investor as crypto need to be regulated to ensure security of all crypto investor and to prevent money launderers to  abuse and exploit crypto market.

I disagree with the idelogy of crypto being regulated. We should learn the impact from two sides. It may bring a good impact to the market and eliminate doubts about crypto's future. However, If we learn from other side, it changes the decentralization to centralization type. So, it may be manipulated or controlled by particular party in government. I am afraid someone or a group of people take advantage with this situation. For example: crypto tax, price setting at a certain rate, or applying strict regulation for crypto business.
