Title: What is the difference between ETH and ETC?
Post by: troll on October 28, 2017, 06:17:16 PM
ETH is the ‘authorised’ or main Ethereum ‘fuel’ or Cryptocurrency, which has had the update applied with the ‘hard fork’ for security reasons.

ETC is the ‘unauthorised’ or secondary Ethereum ‘fuel’ or Cryptocurrency, which maintains the original Ethereum model.

Does this mean that ETC can completely disappear? I did not think about it before. This coin is more dangerous than I thought

Actualy is the same coin but hardfork due to security problem which old ETH(ETC) has been hacked and 2million coin already stolen. So investor make consortium to hardfork and restore system with previous amount of ETH before hacked. So right now 2million coin ETC still holding by hacker they can sell it anytime, that's why people didn't have big interest to invest on it. Only used as speculation coin right now. As you can see on coinmarket price factor gap between ETH and ETC so far by 20 times right now rather than last year.
