OmiseGO (OMG) Forum / Re: Why buy OmiseGO?
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:42:14 AM »
OmiseGO is not owned by any single one party. Instead, it is an open distributed network of validators which enforce behavior of all participants. It uses the mechanism of a protocol token to create a proof-of-stake blockchain to enable enforcement of market activity amongst participants.

Bitcoin Diamond / Re: What is Bitcoin Diamond?
« on: February 11, 2019, 03:44:49 AM »
Bitcoin Diamond is fork of Bitcoin that seeks to add more transaction capacity to the network. There are ten times more BCD than Bitcoin, meaning that a total of 210 million BCD will ultimately be released, versus Bitcoin’s 21 million.

Bitcoin Diamond claims to offer is privacy first and foremost. It seems this fork’s developers have found a way to encrypt the transaction amounts and balances of all BCD users. It sounds somewhat similar to Monero, but it is doubtful the Bitcoin Diamond implementation is even half as competent. A GitHub repo has yet to be created for this altcoin, but that may change once the correct block is found on the Bitcoin network.

Kripto berita dan diskusi (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Jangan salahkan ICO
« on: February 07, 2019, 03:01:14 AM »

News related to Crypto / Re: Crypto continues to conquer South America.
« on: February 07, 2019, 01:45:24 AM »
In Latin America, the country most known for bitcoin is Argentina. And while Argentina has had the most bitcoin enthusiasts per capita, that may be starting to change. Brazilians and Venezuelans also have good reasons to adopt bitcoin — bitcoin holders in 2015 enjoyed earnings during 2015 that performed more than 400 percent better than the Venezuelan Bolivar, more than 92 percent over the Brazilian Real, more than 65 percent over the Mexican Peso and more than 41 percent over the Argentine Peso.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Venezuela - future of crypto?
« on: February 06, 2019, 08:26:31 AM »
The petro (the cryptocurrency the sovereign bolivar is tied to) is doing something groundbreaking, however — it’s one of the first attempts to introduce a state-backed cryptocurrency. If the situation were different, Venezuela could provide a promising model for other nations looking to shift to a blockchain-based currency. But that’s not what’s going to happen in Venezuela. Instead, the petro might become a cautionary tale that could discourage other nations from introducing similar state-backed cryptocurrencies.

TRON (TRX) Forum + Ecosystem / Re: TRON WALLET
« on: February 06, 2019, 08:24:09 AM »
Tronscan (Web Wallet), This is a web-based interface and it makes for very convenient access to your TRX coins from any internet connected device with a web browser. It’s not the most secure TRON wallet, and the user interface is somewhat ugly, but it is very easy to navigate and store your coins.
It also gives you easy access to information about your past transactions and account balances. And if you want to lock up some coins you can even do that without any troubles. It isn’t a good idea to store a large amount of TRX in a web wallet like this, but generally speaking if you’re careful with your online behavior and with your private key you should be just fine.

Tokens/Coins Offerings (ICO, IEO, etc.) / Re: How to known a Scam ICO
« on: February 05, 2019, 05:50:33 AM »
If an ICO promises to disrupt an established industry without providing any technical or operational details, it qualifies as a scam. Good whitepapers have charts, calculations, specifications, and even code at times.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: More and more Scam projects
« on: February 05, 2019, 05:46:47 AM »
Most ICO scam projects will create a whitepaper with few actual details about the project. Legitimate projects will lay out in great detail how they will use investors’ funds to develop their technology. A scam ICO will only provide the shallowest of details of how they use investor’s money to develop their project. This is a sure sign that they can’t be trusted. Make sure to thoroughly read through the whitepaper of any ICO you’re thinking of investing in

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which is your favourite altcoins in 2019 ?

Stellar is the most provitable in 2019, The Stellar Blockchain project mainly pointed at remittances or cross country payments in a fast, efficient, and cheap way. Stellar offered their solution to the resource usage issue that many proof of work networks encountered with their Stellar Consensus Protocol (Can be explored in the Stellar Consensus Protocol White paper Here). Stellar seems to be doing everything right. The network is fueled by brilliant strategic partnerships, including tech giant IBM. If you do any online business, especially internationally, you’ll see there is a need for fast, simple and cheap ways to send payments. With the leaders in online payments currently charging 5% or more in money transferring fees, it’s easy to imagine a world where Stellar, with its <5 second transaction speeds and ultra low transaction fees, thrives in business. It is said that Tempo running on the Stellar blockchain as a remittances dApp can facilitate 600,000 transactions for 0.01 USD in fees. We’ve sung Stellar’s praises before and will continue to as this project has accomplished so much and still has so much potential. We expect Stellar to do very well moving forward.

Crypto Will Never Die Cryptocurrency is literally the best way to send money online, by far. If you want control, instant transfers, assurance of transfer, and low fees, crypto is for you. If you want identity protection and no database to be hacked to steal your credit card numbers, passwords, or personal information, crypto is for you. Just like every new method of payment there is a learning curve. Personal checks, credit cards, PayPal all took time to learn to use and trust. Cryptocurrency is easy once you learn it and then you will love it because it is THAT good!

Steem - Steemit Forum / Re: What is Steem
« on: February 05, 2019, 05:31:57 AM »
Created by Ned Scott and Dan Larimer, STEEM is a cryptocurrency that is used to power Steemit, an incentivized blockchain based social media platform. Steemit is very similar to Reddit, in that it allows users to make posts, write comments, and also upvote posts and comments made by other users. The difference however, is that users can be rewarded monetarily for these actions. Blockchain technology enable users on the Steemit platform to receive the cryptocurrency in exchange for participating on the platform, which can then be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, and then eventually fiat currency.

Waves Forum / Re: What is good about waves?
« on: February 04, 2019, 04:52:40 AM »
WAVE, unlike majority of other cryptocurrency platforms and cryptocurrencies makes a starting point for new cryptocurrencies – that means that you, in case you know what you are doing, can as well make your own cryptocurrency and expand the digital money market by joining a new developed currency that can easily get global interest and start making profit.

cryptocurrency is also called as virtual currency or alternate currency. A cryptocurrency is a form of digital money which is designed to work as a medium of exchange and uses a cryptography method to keep it secure the transaction.
