Yes, points will decrease slowly due to inactivity but it will never go back to 0 just for inactivity for just a couple days, I personally think that withdrawal is the reason why your points went to 0.

currently points do not decrease,
they go to 0, when your withdrawal is processed, or if you requested to reset karma and your points are consumed
or if you got a penalty

the inactivity, is measured on withdrawal, thus the reduction of points is done immediately before distribution

there are 2 possibilities.
first, you have exchanged your points into ALTS
second, your point decreases because the longer you are inactive, your point will decrease. maybe because you have been active for a few weeks in this forum so the point you get is gone and becomes 0
