Because your account has been identified by the admin as a duplicate account. If you have two accounts with the forum, you should have reported it to the admin to mark your second account as a duplicate. But if the admin finds that you are cheating, you might get tagged duplicate in both accounts. However, if you think this is some mistake, you can contact the moderators or the admin.

If you using two account without telling the admin about is and if the admin find out that you are using two account or someone report about it then there is highly possibility that your both account will be tagged as Duplicate. Sometime mistake happens.If you can show a proof that its not duplicate than you can contact with admin.

Maybe you created that account with same IP address with other account, or you created two accounts with same address.

If admin find indications that multiple accounts will make the account we have banned or duplicated. If we can, we use 1 IP only for 1 account so there is no duplicate account detected on this alcointalk forum.

If your account is being tagged as duplicate then it means that you are using more than one account(multiple account) on the same IP address, if at all you want to use more than one account you are supposed to report it to the admin of the forum because if the admin discovers it by themselves or maybe someone else reported the account to the admin then it means that the both accounts will be tagged as duplicate.
