Title: Dogethereum is a dogecoin fork. Is it true?
Post by: ayatoslaw on October 15, 2018, 06:30:25 AM
Many say that dogethereum is a fork of doge, is that right or wrong?
if what I see dogethereum is the latest breakthrough with a combination of doge and ethereum. so that investors hope dogethereum has a higher price than dogecoin.

To be honest I read an article about it, and didn't understand a thing that they said.  It talked about a test connecting doge to ether, but didn't say if it was a separate coin, or extra feature of dogecoin.

not. Doge's #DevelopmentTeam  have long stated that they do not support this project. some unknown people launched a coin, posing as a bridge.

in my opinion it's also very true and I really believe that the combination between dogecoin and ethereum will get very good results and the price will definitely be much better than dogecoin.

I've read the news that Dogethereum was originally to bring all dogecoin to the Ethereum network so they would work as ER20 tokens until the time they returned to the Doge network. There are several cryptocurrency experts who believe that once the technology discussed has been fully developed 90% of Ethereum's scalability problems will be solved. If this project is successful it means that users can use any tokens on any blockchain network.

I also think that is impossible, how doge that has long been established actually wants to develop dogecoin and ethereum into one I think that is impossible, maybe there are other features that the dev has not reported to the public.

Too many coins everywhere with different names and different usability, I will make some research about it. Just seeing this for the first time.

Like it is not the result of forks like ethereum classic. Because the name is strange, combining dogecoin with ethereum. If there is the name of the cryptocurrency, it might only seek popularity by using the names dogecoin and ethereum. This is just a marketing strategy to introduce dogethereum.

I too never heard of it, until I read it on this forum, in the news section.  I started looking into it, found their main website, looks like a separate coin from what I can tell.

I can't say for this because the fact is you don't reference the webiste for Dogethereum.
If you have the Dogethereum website link please provide it to me and my thread quote.

Thanks
