Doges locked in wallet after backup...
« on: January 17, 2021, 07:37:36 PM »
Hello guys,

In 2014, I created a backup of my wallet without entering any password-passphrase.

File->Backup Wallet. And wallet.dat was stored on USB flash. That's all I did.

Two days ago, I installed a core 1.10 which is still syncing, in hope to just transfer coins to my new wallet.

The problem is that it doesn't allow me to send coins without entering a passphrase, which was never created. Status shows that wallet is encrypted and currently locked.

Hope somebody could help me to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Joe
