Indeed. One of the problem for long term investment is "there is a possibility of some coins to die off". So, to minimize the risk, I just choose top 15 listed coins on exchanges for long term investment.

2018 is a hard year for crypto. I guess you started to participate in crypto business in the beginning year of 2018. Not only you bro, all investors and I also have the same problem like you. I invested in some coins but still get no profits till now. Be patient bro, I suggest you to keep your investment and never sell it without right consideration.

Learning each coin before buying is a must. But the fact is that many people here are busy asking about what coins are potential and doing without a knowledge base. This is so bad.

I'm trying to go for long term investment approach, got some dogecoins, 1 litecoin and 100 peercoin, since everything is kinda cheap right now.  I do prefer alt coins to bitcoin and ether tokens, since bitcoin is expensive to transact for micro stuff, and tokens appear to be risky.  So far holding dogecoins worked for me for sure.

I definitely agree with what you say, if you hold on to a wrong coin when the release of the coin the price might surge but will drop drastically after a while so not every coin is suitable for long term investment hold. After the coin is release the most important thing is whether the team is able to follow their roadmap and make new hype.

I believed long term is good due to its volatile characteristics and we might be losing too much if we invest it in day trading and the the crypto we invested will drops automatically.

I agreed long term investment in cryptocurrency market for long run way its safe and can get better profits and high growth of money in coming future. But we need to think that every coin is not good for holding and long term investment. I hold many altcoin like XRP, TRON, Dogecoin, and etherium for long term investment and waiting for the best time their growth.
