Bitcoin Forum / Should I buy bitcoin now?

With the rate at which bitcoin is moving up, I fear for gravity, what do you advise?

I like monero, I like veil, both coins seem pretty good to me, both integrated the bulletproof protocol to minimise transaction sizes, and can be staked to receive staking dividends which is a good one for me because I like passive earnings. Veil is an "always on privacy" coin with no compromise on security. Kindly add veil to the list

« on: May 14, 2019, 12:59:05 PM »
Bulletproof helps in reducing transaction sizes of privacy coin by employing CTs. This protocol doesn't require a trusted set up or a third party application. Bulletproofs are efficient in applying zero knowledge and obfuscation to transaction amount.
Applied in coins like XMR and VEIL, it has been used so far to reduce transaction sizes while preserving security and anonymity. Veil coin used this effectively as the underlying protocol to provide privacy and make transaction secured with lower data sizes.

The veil lab was established to help in research and further development of privacy features of the veil coin and the privacy-niche in general. Built with its own funds, veil is trying to bring further innovation in the veil coin, veil coin stands out to be one of the "always on" privacy coin with maximum scalability introduced using the bulletproof protocol to reduce transaction data size.
Veil lab is putting in a lot of work to ensure that veil coin becomes a defacto coin when privacy is the case, visit veil-project.com for more news on the project and technical overview

Incentivised Posting / Shill / "ALWAYS ON PRIVACY?"
« on: April 30, 2019, 04:33:33 PM »
Zcash gives the option of either having a public transaction or a private one, which is a good one, giving one the luxury of choice. But doesn't that deviate from the initial purpose of the coin? A coin that wants to take pride in privacy-focused cryptocurrencies should go private 100%. This is why I prefer Veil, Veil with an "always on" privacy feature keeps your transactions private 100%, with a zerocoin protocol and a RING-CT integration, one can do transactions in an 100%  obscured blockchain. With the POW and POS consensus system, one can also earn Veil by holding. Remember, all these happens in  100% privacy
Veil seems a better one for me, what do you think?

Monero is the mother of privacy coins and may not loose its top position soon despite all its technical lags all because of markets sentiment to originators. But then, Veil is young and gaining some traction. With a dedicated team at Veil Labs eager to ensure that Veil coin stays abreast with evolutions in technology to make it competitive in the future. While I trade some XMR, I won't forget to hold Veil too for posterity sake

My thoughts too, I'll definitely hold lots of veil

What is Veil?

I did not see the website linked to in this thread by the OP.
It might be better for this thread editing OP to be easily understood by other members.

veil-project.com is the website link

is xmr having more potential than other crypto?

Monero has good potential depending on the area you want to look at it, been popular for being a privacy coin, it's adoption is increasing on time basis, good coin if you ask me, but have you thought about Veil too, almost similar project but with better solutions to anonymous transactions and greater room for growth considering it is a young project, I think you should check it out too

I've always known monero to be the Head in privacy-focused coins because of its fungibility and obfuscation ; obscuring transaction data and amount in order to make it difficult to track, but Veil is adding a dandellion and bulletproof protocol to its coin to provide more scalability in an "always on" privacy. Veil is still a young project and might hit the market with storm. What do you think guys about investing in veil?
Let's brainstorm....
