i think ICOs are fading away and it will continue. here are my reasons. 90% of ico always got dump whenever it hits any exchange. it takes months for such project to recover. some have faded away into lime light and investors has little or no idea on what happened.

As ICOs have bad reputations, and there are IEOs currently, it is very possible that investors leave them. I see there is a highly enthusiastic from investors to buy coin/token through IEOs now. I guess investors will move from ICOs to IEOs soon if there is no change on ICOs security.

Perhaps after some time there will be more stringent rules for the organizers, in order to become less fraudulent projects.Buying coins is definitely safer on the stock exchange, then the investor is sure that the project is successful. But then it will not be possible to buy coins at a presale price that is much more profitable than the price when the coin is already being traded on the market.

Your prediction becomes real. I see you posted this topic on October 24, 2018 when the IEOs are still not so popular like today. It is proven that today most investors are moving to IEOs to buy new coins with a safer way. Yes, the ICOs are not quite famous since the scams and failed issues.

I think so people gonna stop investing in ico's and go for something that have an future instead of having invested in scams!

Now, it's the time of IEO, launched by Exchanges, that are collecting good money because the system deletes the possibility that the token will not be ever listed in any exchange.
This crowd-sale type reduces the investment risk but causes also big losses, as happened to me investing in Ocean on Bittrex.

Yeah, it is likely to happen, bro. More people are interested in IEOs, and they leave ICOs because of the security reason. I think when people believe IEOs is the only way to have better new coins, then people will leave ICOs totally.
