The price of coins or tokens at the ICO stage is determined by the teams plans for the project.But after it being listed then the token price becomes the real value of the token based on the market demand.
So the ICO stages gives away bonuses and if the coin increase in value after the ICO then the investors will enjoy a great deal of profit.
Therefore it is important to really do an indept assessment the project before investing in its ICO. You shouldn't just base the decision on the bonus allocation.

Yes you right, people become afraid of numerous scam project to invest after ICOs but it is much more profitable to invest during ICOs for better profit margin than buying when the coin/token is on exchanges. I also advice you to carry out proper research on most ICOs out there before investing durig ICOs.

It is still depends on the ICO. If the ico is good and has a good ratings, it is better to purchase it in the ico. But sometimes, when it hits on the exchange the price of the coin goes to below ico.

For the more benefits, I think to buy in ICO is still best choice. But for the safest investment, to buy when the tokens are already on the exchange is the best way. You can choose your investment style. It depends on you.

For now where most of the ICOs are dropping after listed to an exchange market so I prefer to wait for the coins to be listed in exchange market before investing to avoid any losses.

I will buy in ICO for the more profits. For me, to take a risk is the only way in investment. But when I can see a chance to buy tokens once it has listed on Exchange, I also will do it. Maybe I can take an arbitrace with the price gap.

I can't guess correctly but the facts are like that.

Maybe the investor is also afraid that the price of the token he bought will go down after entering the Exchange.
So it might be better if they sell it after entering the Exchange.

It's too simple. If you get it in the earliest pre-sale with largest bonus, go for it. If you are late on it wait for getting it listed on an exchange. Buying in the main sale seems a stupid idea to me. Sometimes it even gets cheaper than pre-sale on exchange considering the time these ICO holds your money.

I think the best answer to your question is buy doing both. With doing that thing can tell you exactly  the very accurate answer but since it is a trial days better to not invest too much during ico and don't buy too much while the coins is on the market.

Depending on the achievement of sales of the ico project and market conditions. If the sale of the ico project is successful, the price at the time the project is listed on the exchange will increase. This is because the token enthusiast will buy more on the exchange.

It's a choice and it depends on the Icon, if it's a good price you better buy it in Ico, but you have to be smart to determine a choice.

It is better to buy tokens during the sales of ICO since that is the time that you can get some huge bonus other than going to an exchange when the value really increase in price.
